Erika Kirk reveals she wears Charlie’s blood-stained pendant ripped from his body in final moments

GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, has revealed she now carries the blood-stained St Michael pendant that was ripped from his body as medics tried to save his life.
The cross, still marked with traces of blood, was removed by first responders after the conservative activist was fatally shot at a Turning Point USA event in Utah less than two weeks ago, she told The New York Times.
Erika Kirk says she texted Charlie Kirk 'I love you' before his chartered plane left for Utah
In her interview with the publication, Erika Kirk recalled how her husband was too eager to rest the night before his Utah Valley University debate.
“His adrenal glands were just going off,” she told the outlet. “He got up and I could hear him eating something in the kitchen. He’d been waiting all summer to begin touring.”

She added that the campus events “were like an Olympic event for him. He trained for them. He had whiteboard sessions for hours. Mock debates. He was just so excited.”
Charlie finally went to sleep later in a separate room, only to slip out the next morning for his flight. Erika said she texted him “I love you” before his chartered plane left for Provo.

A staff member later told her that Kirk stepped off the plane and declared to the pilot, “Today’s going to be a great day.”
The interview comes amid a public memorial for Charlie Kirk in Arizona on Sunday morning, which is already drawing huge crowds.
Donald Trump, who foresaw Kirk's potential as a president someday, has also departed from the White House to attend his memorial in Glendale, Arizona.
