GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Erika Kirk, the wife of the late political activist, Charlie Kirk, is set to appear on 'The Megyn Kelly Show' on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Megyn Kelly uploaded preview clips of the episode ahead of the release, during which Erika got emotional while talking about her family and recalled the moment she found out Charlie had been murdered.
She said that she was “praying to God” that she was “pregnant” because the couple, who had two children, wanted four in total.
Erika Kirk says pregnancy would have been the 'ultimate blessing'
After Erika Kirk revealed she was praying to God that she was pregnant when her husband died, the host, Megyn Kelly, said she wondered whether they’d get “news like that.”
“I was like, 'Oh, my goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe,'” Erika replied.
Erika told the host about the advice she gave young couples after her husband’s death. She said that she would tell them not to wait to have children. While referring to young women, she added that they would “always have a career” and go back to work, but they could “never just go back to having children.”
Erika further said that both she and Charlie were praying before the latter’s death and were excited to expand their families.
Erika Kirk on what she would say to Charlie Kirk's suspected killer's family
In another part of the interview, Megyn Kelly told Erika Kirk that while she knew Erika was not angry with God about what happened to Charlie Kirk, she “kind of” was. She asked Erika how she made sense of it and whether she had any anger in general about the situation.
The 37-year-old replied that “the enemy would love” for her to be angry because it would distract her from building what her late husband had entrusted her to create.
“Raising our babies, Turning Point, being there for the team, being there for what the future holds,” she said.
Erika added that if she had any anger in her heart, the Lord would not be able to use her to better the world. Kelly then recalled the “extraordinary moment” when Erika forgave her husband’s suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, at Charlie’s memorial in September 2025.
She asked whether Erika had anything to say to him or his family, and she replied that it wouldn’t be “sympathy.”
“It wouldn’t be anger,” she added.
Erika further said that anything she could wish upon his family would “pale in comparison” to the “justice of God.”
