WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, and her ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle confirmed in December 2024 that they had broken their engagement.

The first son is now with socialite Bettina Anderson, while Guilfoyle was appointed as the US ambassador to Greece.

The ambassadorship is not the only thing she got after the split. Guilfoyle even got to keep the engagement ring that Trump Jr proposed with and an expert believes it has great resale value, according to Nicki Swift.

Don Trump Jr’s diamond engagement ring could fetch hefty sum for ex Kimberly Guilfoyle

Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, gave an expert's estimate of the potential resale value of the engagement ring, per the outlet.

According to Nicki Swift, Mike Fried thinks that Guilfoyle's ring features "a 7 carat emerald cut diamond, flanked on either side by baguettes."

Moreover, he added that it probably cost Trump Jr an arm and a leg. He added, "Depending on the quality of the diamond, it could have cost $250,000 originally."

However, Guilfoyle likely won't reap the full amount if she expects to get up to a six-figure payout if she ever plans to sell it.

Fried explained, "Diamonds have a resale value that's significantly less than the initial price tag, usually reaping between 20%-60% of the original price (depending on various factors)."

He added, "If Kimberly were to sell her ring, she could expect to get anywhere from $50,000 to $150,000."

Interstingly, Guilfoyle would probably have no problem reselling her engagement ring if she ever decides to part with the stone. Fried said, "Reselling a diamond ring isn't difficult, as there are many pawn shops, jewelry stores, and online wholesalers that buy diamond rings."

He added, "We suggest selling to an online wholesaler for the best value."

Meanwhile, Fried also said that selling an engagement ring is a personal decision. He mentioned, "Some people hold onto it for sentimental reasons, while others want to sell it to gain closure of the relationship (and boost their bank account)."

Donald Trump Jr and Kimberly Guilfoyle set for bitter $15M battle for waterfront home

The lavish $15 million waterfront mansion that Donald Trump Jr shared with his ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle could become a sore spot between the former couple after their split, according to Daily Mail.

Interestingly, the former couple bought the home in Jupiter, Florida, a 30-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago, in 2021. They purchased the property as tenants where each owns a certain percentage which they can sell, transfer, or mortgage without the other’s permission making for a messy confrontation, per the outlet.

A confidante informed Daily Mail, "I doubt Kimberly relishes the idea of Don Jr moving his new flame into the home that she worked so hard on. And to be honest, I am not sure that Bettina would want to move into the home that Don lived in with Kimberly."

The former love birds bought the six-bed, 11-bath home for $9.7 million in March 2021, two months after his father left the White House. Its value is now more than $15 million by real estate sites.
