Jamie Foxx addresses alleged Diddy involvement in his hospitalization in Netflix special, claim witnesses
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx just cracked open a whole can of drama - addressing some wild rumors involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and his mysterious hospitalization last year.
The buzz began at the tapings of Foxx’s new Netflix special 'What Had Happened Was.' Some lucky fans who attended these tapings are now spilling the beans on what went down, but they can't quite agree on what Foxx actually said about Diddy.
The shows took place over three days — October 4, 5, and 6 — at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, and each night seemed to leave a different impression.

Choke No Joke’s take on what Jamie Foxx said at live tapings
Enter Choke No Joke, a videographer and all-around industry insider who attended two of the three shows, dished to Comedy Hype about what he claimed to have heard.
“Jamie has a special coming out on Netflix called ‘What Had Happened Was,’ and I went to the taping of it. It was three days [of] taping. I went to the first show; I went to the last show,” he revealed in a YouTube video uploaded on October 7.
Choke claimed that Foxx said at the show that “Diddy was responsible for what happened to him, and [Foxx] is the one who called the FBI on [Combs].”
When asked if Foxx was playing around, Choke didn’t hold back. “I don’t think he was joking," he said, adding, “Y’all can determine was he joking or not when you see the show, ’cause to me — I’m a new comedian, right? … I know when somebody’s setting up a punchline, and I know when you’re serious," insisting that he didn’t want to “give away [Foxx’s] jokes.”
Here’s where things get even murkier. According to Choke, after Foxx allegedly said “Diddy did something to me,” he supposedly followed it up with, “And I’m the one who called the feds on him.”
Choke even speculated that Foxx might’ve gone to the authorities out of fear. But Foxx’s camp hasn’t confirmed a thing, so it’s all speculation at this point.
Choke also tried to connect some dots.
“He disappeared, right? He out now, soon as Puff went to jail, right? We see him at the game with [Dallas Cowboys owner] Jerry Jones, right?" he said. "We haven’t seen him. As soon as Puff went to jail, [Foxx] was at the goddamn Dallas football game, right? And now he just went and shot his special. And who’s the special strongly based around? Diddy.”
🔥🚨BREAKING: Jamie Foxx fans are ‘extremely confused’ about this video of Foxx and Dallas Cowboy owner Jerry Jones. Jamie Foxx cut the video as soon as Jones started observing mysterious measurements, one of which included the size of a man’s penis.

Other eyewitnesses chime in on Jamie Foxx reporting Diddy
Another industry insider Big Homie CC — who happens to be a celebrity security guard — offered his own take during an interview with Cam Capone News.
“I know [Combs] poisoned Jamie Foxx, and Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it,” he said on camera. "Jamie Foxx reported this man to the FBI because of this.”
According to Big Homie, Foxx allegedly shared this story at two of the comedy show tapings, which Big Homie attended with a client. He even said Foxx’s words left him “shocked,” as he’d only heard whispers of these claims before.
Media Take Out jumped into the fray with a report claiming that Foxx told his audience that Combs had poisoned him. They even say that when the crowd started laughing, Foxx allegedly gave a serious look to an audience member, as if to say, “I’m not joking.”
On the other hand, Dennis LA White — who attended the second and third tapings of Foxx’s show — told Page Six that what he heard was totally different.
“People keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not responsible. If he was, I would’ve been dead," White said, adding that he didn’t recall Foxx mentioning anything about the feds or law enforcement. However, he did say Foxx spent a good chunk of his time onstage roasting Diddy - complete with some cheeky jokes about “baby oil.”
Jamie Foxx’s emotional Instagram post
After the shows wrapped, Foxx went on Instagram to reflect on the experience. “God is good. … I had an opportunity to tell my side of the story and there was no better place than Atlanta Georgia,” he wrote. While he didn’t name names, his words had everyone reading between the lines.
He added, “When people ask me if this a stand-up comedy show I say no it’s an artistic explanation. Of something that went terribly wrong, but thanks to the great people in Atlanta especially Piedmont Hospital you enabled me to come back and be on stage and do what I love to do the most.”
Alongside the message were two photos, one of which showed Foxx shedding tears on stage with a mic in hand.
