WASHINGTON, DC: US President Donald Trump has been campaigning across the US to rally support for Republican candidates ahead of the November 3, 2026, midterm elections.

At this time, a post has gone viral on X, claiming that nearly a quarter of the audience at Trump's rallies consists of hecklers who interrupt his speeches every two minutes, shouting about the Epstein files and alleged bribes involving Jared Kushner and Iran, with some MAGA supporters reportedly joining the protests.

Claim: Hecklers interrupted Trump at 2026 midterm rallies

The rumor started with a post on X about alleged disruptions at Donald Trump's 2026 midterm rallies.

The user claimed, "Approximately 1/4th of Donald Trump’s rally crowd last night was made up of hecklers who interrupted him, yelling about the Epstein Files, Jared Kushner's bribes, and Iran on average every 2 minutes, and some real MAGA fans stopped booing them and joined the heckling."

Notably, Trump held campaign rallies in Dubuque, Iowa, and Salina, Kansas, to rally support for Republican candidates on November 1.

Within a few hours, the post had received more than 137,000 views and attracted several comments. Some users questioned whether the incident had actually happened, while others appeared to believe the claim.

One user asked for proof, commenting, "Any video?" Another asked, "Where is the footage of this?"

Meanwhile, a user who believed the claim wrote, "It doesn't surprise me at all. The country is angry at Trump's refusal to deliver on his campaign promises."

Fact Check: The claim is false

The claim is false. The Halfway Post is a satirical account that describes its content as “Halfway true comedy and satire.” It uses humor and exaggeration rather than reporting actual news.

However, Trump did face interruptions from protesters at his midterm campaign rallies in late October 2026. At an Ohio rally around October 28–29, some protesters shouted about the Epstein files, including claims about Trump's links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The crowd booed the protesters, and security escorted them out. Trump also responded by saying that he had banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago years ago.

At a rally in Daytona Beach, Florida, on October 31, several protesters also interrupted Trump's speech. Trump told them to “shut up” and called them losers and paid protesters before security removed them.

However, news reports describe only a small number of hecklers at these events, not one-quarter of the audience. There is also no evidence that protesters interrupted Trump every two minutes or that large numbers of MAGA supporters joined them.

Although critics have raised questions about Jared Kushner's financial dealings and Trump's Iran policy, reports do not show that protesters repeatedly shouted about these issues at the rallies as the viral post suggests.
