Inside Trump's Halloween bash at Mar-a-Lago: Outrageous costumes and a jungle-themed spectacle

The president appeared in his familiar navy suit and bright red tie, surrounded by guests in elaborate costumes. The Halloween celebration came during the final weekend before the November 3 midterms, with Trump also participating in campaign tele-rallies.

Even a Halloween party couldn't keep politics entirely off the agenda. Trump paused to speak with reporters as the November 3 midterms approached, turning a festive evening into another opportunity for questions. The unusual backdrop offered a reminder that Election Day was just around the corner.

Some guests took the tropical theme to spectacular lengths. A pair of partygoers appeared as brightly colored parrots, their oversized wings and feathered outfits making them hard to miss. The costumes captured the playful extravagance of an evening that was anything but understated.

Trump's Palm Beach resort was almost unrecognizable as its grand ballroom glowed under vivid green lighting. Towering tropical decorations, glittering chandeliers and animal-print table settings created a jungle-inspired atmosphere. Costumed guests filled the room for a Halloween celebration held just days before Americans headed to the polls.

A guest posed with enormous dark wings inside the glowing green ballroom, providing one of the night's most eye-catching images. The elaborate costume captured the theatrical spirit of Mar-a-Lago's Halloween celebration.

The jungle theme didn't stop guests from adding their own theatrical twists. From flamboyant feathered headpieces to whimsical top hats, the evening became an unofficial costume parade. The elaborate looks offered a glimpse of Mar-a-Lago's more playful side.

The entertainment embraced the same larger-than-life spirit as the costumes. A performer dressed as a zebra appeared amid dramatic stage lighting, adding a theatrical flourish to the jungle-themed celebration. The spectacle helped turn the private club's Halloween gathering into a full-scale production.
