WASHINGTON, DC: A social-media clip that recently went viral shows a former Turning Point USA (TPUSA) staff member supporting the dramatic accusations Candace Owens made about the organization, alleging misdeeds, donor concerns, and unanswered questions surrounding the death of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk.

The claim has renewed public interest in ongoing questions about TPUSA’s leadership, the circumstances surrounding Kirk’s death, Owens’ posts, and the broader discussions about the organization’s internal communication. But is there any truth to it? Let’s find out.

Claim: Ex-TPUSA staffer backs Candace Owens on Charlie Kirk’s death

A social media post alleged that a video was recorded by a former Turning Point USA (TPUSA) employee in which she expressed support for Candace Owens as Owens investigated the death of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. The video reportedly included several allegations related to donor concerns, organizational chaos, and the behavior of TPUSA leadership.

She allegedly stated that she had not been an original supporter of Owens but eventually came to agree with her concerns about the organization’s internal functioning.

The post claimed that the individual had worked in donor relations for four years, handled high-value donors, and witnessed unprofessional behavior within the organization, which she described in the recording.

In the video, she reportedly said she was “not a fan” of Owens but agreed with the questions she had raised about TPUSA. She further claimed she had advised donors to stop giving money to the organization and insisted that Owens was telling the truth. The social media post shared strong language and encouraged users to repost the video and tag Owens.

Fact Check: Claim remains unverified

The woman featured in the video, along with her exact role and employment history at TPUSA, has not been verified by any independent source. TPUSA has not confirmed that this individual was ever a member of its staff. The alleged donor conversations, the documents she claimed to have seen, and the accusations she made against the organization’s leadership have not been supported by any evidence beyond the video itself.

The video offered no substantive information; it did not present credible allegations or any verifiable proof. Her only concrete claim was that the organization received money, nothing more.

What is Candace Owens questioning about Charlie Kirk’s death?

Thirty-one-year-old Charlie Kirk was shot by a sniper on the campus of Utah Valley University on September 10 during a public event. Police arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson and have presented the incident as a lone-gunman shooting. Authorities have not found evidence of any wider conspiracy.

Candace Owens has questioned whether there were issues with internal communication, possible donor-related concerns, or whether Kirk may have been under some form of pressure.

However, police continue to support the single-shooter explanation. There is no evidence that anyone associated with TPUSA leadership was involved in the shooting.
