WASHINGTON, DC: Blake Neff, a longtime producer of 'The Charlie Kirk Show,' publicly dismantled a series of conspiracy theories pushed by conservative commentator Candace Owens, saying her claims have led to harassment of Charlie Kirk’s friends and family following his killing.

Speaking during Wednesday’s broadcast, Neff accused Owens of spreading reckless falsehoods and announced that Turning Point USA will host a livestream to comprehensively debunk her allegations, inviting Owens to participate.

Blake Neff confronts Candace Owens’ conspiracy claims on-air

Neff used the opening segment of the show to address what he described as months of nonstop conspiracy speculation surrounding Charlie Kirk’s murder. He said the allegations have flooded Turning Point USA’s inbox and dominated social media, despite the show previously refusing to engage publicly.

“The attacks and allegations from Candace are either lies or they are innuendos thrown around with a total, reckless disregard for the truth,” Neff said. “I would say we have suffered more harassment from these people than we have from Antifa supporters who overtly celebrate Charlie’s murder.”

Neff explained that their previous silence stemmed from believing the claims were too absurd to merit a response. He added that the team had also hoped Owens would stop out of respect for her past friendship with Kirk.

However, he said her behavior has not changed in the nearly three months since the killing.

Candace Owens accused of pushing baseless theories targeting TPUSA staff

Neff outlined a lengthy list of claims Candace Owens has publicly promoted against individuals within Turning Point USA and those close to Charlie Kirk. He said Owens accused Kirk’s chief of staff, Michael McCoy, of knowing about the murder in advance and suggested he remained silent because he feared he would be targeted next.

Owens also questioned McCoy’s identity, alleged that his wife helped plan the event where Kirk was killed, and claimed the Utah Valley University appearance showed signs of an “inside job.” Neff rejected all of these accusations.

According to Neff, Owens further alleged that Kirk’s security team intentionally denied him first aid, that members of Turning Point’s technical staff tampered with evidence, and that senior figures within the organization were part of a supposed military “infiltration” because of their past service.

He added that Owens floated increasingly bizarre theories involving foreign aircraft, French paratroopers, Egyptian Air Force planes, underground assassins, and even Utah Valley soccer players, noting that none of these claims have produced a shred of evidence.

Turning Point USA staff faced harassment amid Candace Owens’ allegations

Neff said Candace Owens’ claims have caused ongoing harassment toward people already grieving a violent loss.

“Instead of being able to grieve properly after one of the most heinous murders in American history, a murder many of us had to witness, my friends have had to endure harassment from people who have gotten whipped up by what Candace is saying,” he said.

He added that many supporters began questioning whether the organization’s earlier silence was an admission of guilt, a notion he rejected, stating, “Our silence has never been, and it will never be, equal to complacency or approval.”

Neff emphasized that Charlie Kirk “was not a coward” and would not have tolerated continued attacks on those closest to him.

Turning Point USA plans livestream to debunk Candace Owens’ claims

Neff concluded by announcing plans for a livestream in Phoenix that will systematically address all of Owens’ accusations. He said the session would walk through each claim “clearly and comprehensively” and extended a direct invitation for Owens to join. “If Candace is available, we would sincerely welcome her participation in that livestream at our studio here in Phoenix,” he said, adding that the goal is to protect Charlie Kirk’s legacy and set the record straight.

“Our motivation for doing this is not out of any obligation to Candace,” Neff said. “It is about honoring Charlie.”
