Joy Behar invites Trump back to ‘The View’ despite saying president is ‘not long for this world’
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' co-host Joy Behar has said she would welcome President Donald Trump back to the daytime talk show, despite recently questioning his health and saying he was “not long for this world.”
Behar made the remarks during an interview with New York Magazine, reflecting on her long history with Trump, whom she knew before he entered politics.
“I’d love Donald Trump to take the heat,” Behar said.
She also claimed Trump appeared unwell, adding, “You know Trump is not long for this world. He seems ill. He does not seem like he’s well.”

White House slams Joy Behar over Trump health remarks
A White House spokesperson sharply criticized Behar’s remarks in a statement to Fox News Digital, calling her an “extremely unlikeable, talentless hack” and accusing her of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
The spokesperson also said, “I lose braincells every single time I have the displeasure of hearing her speak.”

Behar’s comments have renewed attention on her long-running criticism of Trump, particularly her remarks about his health and the media’s coverage of the president.
Joy Behar previously criticized media coverage of Trump’s health
Last month, Behar argued on 'The View' that the media was not scrutinizing Trump’s health as closely as it had scrutinized former President Joe Biden’s.
Her latest comments come amid continued public discussion about the health and age of senior political figures.
Trump, 80, was declared “fully fit” for presidential duties following his annual physical.

Behar has also urged Americans to contact members of Congress about invoking the 25th Amendment against Trump, arguing that his actions were harming the country.
Joy Behar and Trump’s decades-long relationship
Despite their political differences, Behar and Trump have known each other for decades.
Trump appeared on 'The View' more than a dozen times before becoming president, and Behar attended his 1993 wedding to Marla Maples at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Behar recalled that Trump’s sense of humor was different when he was a New York celebrity, saying it was “not as bizarre as it is now.”
She also criticized his current humor, particularly his jokes about people with disabilities.

Behar has previously described Trump as more dangerous than he was during his first term and has made removing him from office part of her stated political legacy.
Her latest remarks combine an invitation for Trump to return to 'The View' with pointed criticism of his health and conduct, underscoring the continuing public feud between the talk-show host and the president.
