Fact Check: Did Elon Musk accuse Trump administration of warmongering?
WASHINGTON, DC: Amid tensions in the Middle East between the United States and Iran, a rumor is circulating on social media platforms claiming that trillionaire Elon Musk slammed the Trump administration, accusing it of warmongering. The claim has sparked concern and speculation, with online users calling for a fact-check.
Claim: Elon Musk accused the Trump administration of warmongering

According to a viral claim circulating online, the Tesla CEO accused the Trump administration of warmongering.
The claim surfaced in the form of a screenshot claiming to show a post by Musk, stating, “May the bloodthirsty warmongers, who push for a war that never ends, burn in hell!”
The alleged post was accompanied by an image showing President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Jared Kushner, Laura Loomer, broadcaster Mark Levin, businesswoman Miriam Adelson, and the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
The post has garnered tens of thousands of views as of this writing, with many interpreting it as renewed tensions between Trump and Musk, while others called it fake and called for a fact check.
Fact Check: The claim originated as satire

The claim, however, is false, as there is no evidence of Musk accusing the Trump administration of warmongering.
Although Elon Musk did post on X stating, “May the bloodthirsty warmongers, who push for a war that never ends, burn in hell!” the claim that he is referring to the Trump administration is false, and the original post does not include Trump and his aides in the Oval Office.
If the claim were true, it would not go unreported by credible media outlets. A search on Google for the claim also yielded no relevant results.
Moreover, the claim originated from a parody account, ‘The Babylon Bibi,’ which describes itself in the bio as ‘satire.’
Elon Musk restricts Ukraine's access to Starlink

The claim surfaced after Musk admitted that SpaceX intentionally limited Ukraine’s access to its Starlink satellite internet after it realized that the Ukrainian forces were using it for offensive drone strikes against Russian troops.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Musk “capped the speeds at which Ukrainian hardware could stay connected to the satellite-based network,” making defense drone usage all but impossible.
Trump initially denied knowing who ordered the slowdown, saying, “I don’t know who did it, but I was not involved,” and later reached out to Musk, urging him to lift the restrictions.
