An X user, Joshua Hall, shared the rumor, claiming, “A GENDER REASSIGNMENT SURGEON has come forward to reveal that RINO Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has been receiving HORMONE THERAPY TREATMENTS.”

The post further explained the alleged reason, stating, “to transition into a female by use of estrogen for the last several years and has recently undergone a GENDER REASSIGNMENT OPERATION to officially become a transgender woman."

The post also made claims about Graham’s personal life, alleging, “Graham is also said to wear make-up and fake breasts in private and is reportedly HIGHLY INSECURE about his gender dysphoria.”

It concluded with a mocking remark, “This is what the Democrats have always had on "Lady G"... Washington DC has truly become one SICK, DEPRAVED TOWN!"

The post quickly gained significant traction, attracting numerous views and comments. One user questioned its credibility, writing, “This makes no sense. The doctor would be in violation of HIPPA laws.”

Another user added, “Look I don’t like Lindsey Graham but I dislike lying fake news for clicks more. So give us the source so we can look it up ourselves."

Fact Check: No credible evidence to back the viral claim

A viral post has alleged that Lindsey Graham has undergone hormone therapy and gender reassignment surgery, along with additional claims about his private behavior and psychological state.

However, there is no credible evidence from medical professionals, reputable news organizations, or official records to support any part of this claim.

No verified source confirms that Graham has undergone hormone therapy or gender reassignment surgery. The claims regarding his private appearance and mental health are also unsubstantiated and originate from anonymous social media posts rather than factual reporting.

Searches across Google and other search engines using keywords such as “Lindsey Graham surgery,” “Lindsey Graham hormone therapy,” and “Lindsey Graham gender reassignment surgery” return no credible results or evidence supporting the viral claim.

If such allegations were true, they would likely have been confirmed by official statements, reputable news outlets, or disclosures from involved professionals or Lindsey Graham himself.

This rumor reflects a broader pattern of fabricated and politically charged misinformation targeting public figures with sensational personal allegations. Such claims are typically intended to attract attention and engagement rather than provide accurate information and are not supported by any verifiable evidence.
