According to a viral X post, the ‘Avengers’ actor criticized the president, saying, “He doesn't care about the people who voted for him; he only cares about himself and his image...To him, they are just tools."

The post has been amplified by several other accounts, garnering almost a hundred thousand views as of this writing.

The claim drew mixed reactions from fans and online users, with many appearing to agree with the actor, while others slammed him, indicating that many believe the remark to be authentic.

Meanwhile, a few others remained skeptical, questioning whether the actor really made such a remark against the president and called for a fact check.

Fact Check: False, Samuel L Jackson made no such remark

Although the 77-year-old actor has been a vocal critic of Trump, there are no records of him saying that he doesn't care about the people or that he cares only about his image.

There are no recent reports, official statements, or social media posts from the Oscar-nominated actor that support the claim.

A search on Google to check whether any prominent news or entertainment media outlets have reported the claim yielded no credible results, which, if true, would have been widely covered.

The X account that posted the claim is also not credible and has posted similar fake claims, likely intended as satire.

In March 2019, Jackson accused the president of “ruining the planet” and all “kinds of other s***.”

“This m*********** is like ruining the planet and all kinds of other crazy s***,” Jackson said when asked about his opposition to Trump in an interview with Esquire.

He also criticised those reluctant to voice their opposition, saying “if you’re not saying anything, then you’re complicit.”

“And I wouldn’t give a f*** if I was a garbage man and I had a Twitter account; I’d tweet that s*** out,” Jackson said. “I’m not thinking about who I am and what my job is when I do that s***.”

In 2018, Jackson took to X, back then called Twitter, to criticize Trump’s remark about arming teachers to prevent school shootings.

“Can someone that’s been in a Gunfight tell that M*********** that’s Never been in a Gunfight, the flaws of his Arm The Teachers plan??!!”
