LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An X user has sparked viral buzz by claiming Taylor Swift is definitively pregnant, citing alleged weight gain, her low public profile, and a reportedly fast-tracked wedding to Travis Kelce. The claim also references unverified reports that the couple plans to marry on June 13, 2026, at Ocean House in Rhode Island. Let's fact check the claim.

Claim: Taylor Swift is pregnant

According to an X user, @mattwallace888, Taylor Swift is “definitively pregnant.” The user wrote, “Taylor Swift is 100% pregnant!” and added, "She experienced a rapid weight gain then seemed to disappear off the map. That is also why they are rushing the wedding for June 13th."

The claim was shared alongside a video of Swift singing, "You are dancing through the lightning strikes. Sleep, listen next night. But now the sky is open. Oh my Lord it’s all right."

After the 15-second mark, the post alleges Swift appeared to have gained weight while performing those lyrics.

The post has since garnered over 31.4K likes, along with comments questioning its authenticity. One user wrote, “Taylor Swift hasn’t publicly shared anything like that and changes in appearance or stepping back from the spotlight can happen for all kinds of reasons. It’s usually better to wait for official news rather than jumping to conclusions.”

Another commented, “She deserves privacy if something big is happening. Let her share the news when she’s ready.”

Fact Check: Taylor Swift pregnancy claim is false

The claim that Taylor Swift is pregnant is false. However, these assertions remain unsubstantiated and lack factual support. Neither Swift, Travis Kelce, nor their representatives have made any official announcement.

No credible reports, confirmed sightings, or medical evidence support the pregnancy claim. In fact, outlets such as The Hollywood Gossip (April 2026) have stated there is “absolutely no proof,” noting that such news would likely attract widespread confirmation given Swift’s public profile. Similar rumors circulated in late 2025 and early 2026, often fueled by photos, limited appearances, or fan speculation, but fact-checks and mainstream coverage have repeatedly debunked them.

Swift’s reduced public visibility more plausibly reflects a break after years of demanding tours and projects or a decision to maintain privacy. Changes in appearance, including weight fluctuations, can occur for many reasons and do not indicate pregnancy without reliable evidence. Meanwhile, reports about a June 13, 2026, wedding at Ocean House in Rhode Island remain unconfirmed and appear largely tied to speculation around her association with the number 13.
