WASHINGTON, DC: Several claims about US President Donald Trump have been making rounds on social media following the Republicans' losses in the 2026 midterm elections.

A viral headline claims that Trump fainted at the White House and was rushed away following the Democrats' victory in both chambers of Congress.

The claim has sparked concern among social media users, especially as it appeared alongside a video allegedly showing the incident. Let's fact-check the claim.

Claim: Trump fainted and was rushed out of White House after 2026 US election results

It remains unclear where the rumor about Donald Trump's health after the 2026 midterm elections first started.

However, an X user named David Samuel shared an article with the headline, "JUST IN: President Trump Faints and Is Rushed Out of the White House Following Crushing 2026 US Midterm Election Defeat, With His Condition Sadly Confirmed to Be…"

Another X user, @DrCharlieWdi, also shared a video claiming that Trump had "completely collapsed" after delivering a speech on November 4, 2026. The user claimed that someone forgot to turn off the camera, which supposedly captured the incident.

The 31-second video contains shaky and unclear footage. It briefly shows a figure resembling Trump, a woman speaking and rooms with golden decorations and large pillars. The clip ends with the text, "DID HE JUST TELEPORT? 👀"

The posts attracted attention from social media users, with one person expressing concern and commenting, "Oh no I hope he is alright, and recovers fast"

Fact Check: The claim is false

There is no credible evidence to support the claim that Trump fainted and was rushed out of the White House after the 2026 midterm election results.

Democrats secured a major victory in the November 3–4, 2026, midterm elections. They won several Senate seats in traditionally Republican states, including Texas, Kansas, Ohio, South Carolina and Iowa.

They also gained significant ground in the House and took control of both chambers of Congress.

However, no credible news outlet, White House statement or medical source has confirmed that Trump fainted, collapsed or needed emergency medical assistance after the election.

The website NewsMous.com, known for publishing sensational and attention-grabbing headlines, appears to have started or amplified the rumor. Even its article acknowledges that the collapse claims remain unverified and that no official medical announcement confirms the alleged incident.

Another viral video linked to the rumor shows a figure resembling Trump being carried by security agents and thrown into a bin labelled "Hazardous Waste." However, the video is also AI-generated and does not show a real incident.

Has Trump responded to US 2026 election results?

Trump publicly responded to the US 2026 election results. He said he did not consider the outcome "a hit on me" because he was not on the ballot.

He also claimed that Republicans would have won in a landslide if he had contested the election. At the same time, he said he was willing to accept the results and work with Democrats.

On November 4, the day after the election, Trump appeared publicly at the White House ballroom construction site.

He spoke for around 20 minutes about the project, signed a steel beam and answered questions from reporters. Although his schedule included private meetings, he continued to make public appearances and carry out his activities.
