However, after his electrifying performance at the Super Bowl, a rumor surfaced online claiming that Bad Bunny wiped his Instagram. But is there any truth to this rumor? Let us find out below.

Claim: Bad Bunny wiped his Instagram after Super Bowl performance

Hours after Bad Bunny's performance at the Super Bowl, several social media users claimed that the Grammy-winning artist wiped his Instagram.

An X account @PopBase wrote, "Bad Bunny has wiped his Instagram following his #SuperBowl halftime show." The post garnered more than 2.5 million views within hours.

The post was attached with a screenshot of Bunny's Instagram page, showing zero posts and following. However, the number of followers stood at 51.5 million.

Similarly, several other X users also posted the same claim. Another X account posted, "Bad Bunny has blacked out his Instagram profile."

"Bad Bunny just deleted all his content from his Instagram, following his Super Bowl halftime performance," posted another X account.

Meanwhile, one X user mentioned, "Bad Bunny just cleared his entire Instagram profile following his Super Bowl performance. Could he be entering a new era?"

Fact check: True, Bad Bunny's Instagram account confirms it

The online claims are true, as Bad Bunny really wiped his Instagram account, and there are no posts or following on his profile page.

Multiple reliable reports and widespread social media confirmation imply that shortly after the show, Bad Bunny's official Instagram profile was completely cleared.

His profile shows that all posts were deleted or archived, he unfollowed everyone, his profile picture was also removed, leaving the account blank aside from his 50.8 million followers.

Moreover, some news articles describe it as a 'shock' move that left fans confused and speculating. No official statement from Bad Bunny explaining it has surfaced yet on social media.
