According to a viral post that surfaced on X, Tom Holland is reportedly set to undergo a height BBL in an attempt to become taller than Zendaya.
“I’m not gonna lie, it kinda hurts every time she calls me her ‘short king,’” the Marvel actor allegedly said.
The claim drew mixed reactions from online users, garnering mockery and laughter from fans, while some online users remained skeptical, questioned the authenticity of the rumor, and called for a fact check.
Fact Check: The claim originated as satire
The claim, however, is false, as there is no evidence of the 30-year-old actor undergoing surgery to look taller than his wife.
There are no publicly available reports, announcements, or interviews from the celebrity couple about such a move. The above statement attributed to Holland is also fabricated, as there are no records of him saying that.
A search on Google and other search engines such as Bing for the claim yielded no credible reports by prominent news and entertainment media outlets, which, if true, would have been widely covered.
Additionally, the claim was posted by a popular parody account on X called ‘Hoops Crave,’ which describes itself in the bio as ‘satire.’
Tom Holland and Zendaya's relationship
The couple met in 2016 during the filming of the 2017 hit film "Spider-Man: Homecoming," in which Holland starred as the popular superhero and Zendaya starred as "MJ," or Michelle Jones-Watson.
