Fetterman's ex-staffers promise 'even worse' details after report exposes his 'no sense of duty'

WASHINGTON, DC: Only a day after Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman's bizarre work pattern surfaced, the senator's ex-staffers have now promised to expose “even worse” practices by him.

Former staffers for John Fetterman are planning to go public with inside details after expressing what they called disgust at his work as a legislator, as per an X post shared on Friday, September 4.

Ex-staffers claim the report is just the start

Writing a post on X, the staffers claimed that the Wall Street Journal’s report revealing that the senator cancelled a constituent meeting and avoided Senate duties is the tip of the iceberg.

"We’re a group of former campaign & Senate staffers for John Fetterman who are disgusted with what he's become. If you were troubled by yesterday's Wall Street Journal story... trust us, that's just the tip of the iceberg," the group wrote in a post to X.

"It’s even worse than you thought," they added.

The social media account with the username "Former Fetterman Staffers" (FFS) said that it will reveal more unflattering details about the senator’s office.

This comes as Fetterman faces criticism over a Wall Street Journal report about his reluctance to carry out the basic duties of his office.

The report published on Thursday claimed that Fetterman routinely skipped constituent meetings, neglected legislative review, and declined to make in-state public appearances.

Dem rep says John Fetterman has no sense of duty

Writing a post on X on Friday, Democratic Rep Chris Deluzio (D-Pa) said that he could say a lot about the fellow Democrat, adding that he has “no sense of duty."

"There is a lot I could say about this report of John Fetterman’s pathetic behavior as a senator," Chris Deluzio said on X. "But between the laziness, disrespect, and willingness to carry water for a foreign government, it shows us something we already know: this man has no sense of duty."

"John Fetterman is a disgrace," Rep Brendan Boyle said in a post of his own. "Our state deserves better than a lazy trust fund baby who is too lazy to do the job."

Pennsylvania state Rep Malcolm Kenyatta, who is the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee, also condemned Fetterman’s behavior.

"This report is horrifying, but not new to many of us in PA. John barely showed up as [Lieutenant Governor] and is constantly MIA as our senator," Kenyatta wrote.

"When he’s not on FOX cheerleading Trump & endless wars, he is attacking the very neighbors who gave him a chance. 2028 can’t come soon enough," he continued.

Fetterman cancelled meeting with paralyzed vets for TV appearance

Revealing that Fetterman often ignored his job as a legislator or offered substandard work, The Wall Street Journal highlighted that he reportedly missed a scheduled meeting with paralyzed military veterans from his state so he could appear on Fox News.

Three paralyzed veterans from rural Pennsylvania traveled to Fetterman's office in June for a meeting they had coordinated in advance.

They wanted to talk about legislation to improve support for disabled veterans. Instead, staff told them Fetterman canceled at the last minute because he might have had food poisoning.
