NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Sean Hannity expressed frustration toward certain media outlets, accusing them of exhibiting "feigned outrage" in response to the recent revelation that a crucial informant in the Republican case against President Joe Biden had been caught lying to the FBI.

The House Republicans even launched an impeachment inquiry against the POTUS, citing his involvement in his son Hunter Biden's apparently questionable business dealings with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, including a purported bribery scheme.

Alexander Smirnov, a former FBI informant who is key to the GOP's impeachment inquiry against President Biden, was apprehended on February 15 and accused of lying and creating false records about the Bidens.

On his Fox News show, Hannity highlighted a statement from Chuck Grassley, outlining how the alleged falsehood came to light only after the senator released the FD-1023 document to the public.

This document supposedly revealed that no prior investigation had been conducted to verify the claim that Biden accepted a bribe while serving as vice president.

Hannity then shifted his focus to media coverage, criticizing them for their one-sided outrage regarding discredited documents. He drew parallels to the Steele dossier aka Trump–Russia dossier, and showcased a comprehensive montage of clips from mainstream press outlets to underscore his point.

He remarked, "None of the dossier was ever proven to be true. All lies. Was Christopher Steele ever charged? No. I wonder why. But that did not stop the media mob. They ran with that story for three long years, peddling lie after lie after lie. Conspiracy theory. Conspiracy theory one after another," as per Mediaite

Hannity minced no words as he dissected the origins of the Steele dossier, which was compiled by Christopher Steele, a former head of the Russia Desk for British intelligence (MI6), reminding viewers that it was apparently funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign and ultimately proven to be a "complete lie."

Hannity interrogated, "Now where is NBC — I understand that they hired Rachel Maddow. She’s America’s chief conspiracy theorist — where’s their apology? Where’s Maddow’s apology? What about Fake News CNN? You know, what about, you know, the media mob?"

He further criticized Democrats for their silence on the matter, accusing them of selective outrage and shielding the Biden family from scrutiny.

"And what about their Democratic cohorts? Can they spare us with their fake, phony feigned outrage?" questioned Hannity.

He added, "Why have so many in the media mob, why have they ignored the Biden family syndicate story? Millions of dollars from some of our top geopolitical foes: Russia, China, Ukraine, Romania, Kazakhstan, Mexico, and many other countries? Not a peep. Not a word. Why? They are protecting the Biden."

"No reasonable prosecutor would prosecute. Unless you’re Donald Trump, then you’re going to get raided," claimed Hannity, highlighting the several legal challenges faced by former President Donald Trump.

The Fox News host concluded, "I'd like the apologies. I'd like the I'd like the same standard applied three years. Layer after layer after layer of lie after lie after lie. No apologies, no corrections, nothing."
