Demi Moore stuns the red carpet in purple Gucci gown on second day of Cannes 2026

‘The Substance’ actress shone like a star in the purple off-the-shoulder gown by Gucci as she walked the red carpet at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday night. The flowy dress featured delicate, sheer layers as well as a sweetheart neckline and a high slit, giving her appearance a very beautiful yet dramatic effect. Styled by Brad Goreski, Moore carried the look with all its charm.

The Academy Award nominated star paired her ethereal gown, in a soft yet vibrant lavender hue, with a pair of same color pumps. To complete her look, she added a pair of dazzling drop earrings and a huge sparkling silver ring. However, it was her long, dark hair that did the magic as she styled it in a wet and wavy style.

Moore's stylist disclosed on social media that he took inspiration to style the actress for Day 2 of the festival from her 2003 red carpet appearance at 'The Matrix Reloaded' screening. He posted the throwback photo of the 63-year-old on his Instagram Stories that showed the star donning a Gucci long-sleeve off-the-shoulder top, designed by Tom Ford, which she paired with medium-wash flared jeans.

Moore did not go heavy with her makeup. She went for a soft glam look featuring bold brows, soft kohl eyes, and glossy lips while letting her dreamy gown be the talk of the town.

The diva donned the purple gown for the screening of 'La Vie D’Une Femme (A Women’s Life),' a 2026 French movie by Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet. Earlier, during a press conference, she revealed that "prior I had only ever attended the Cannes Film Festival once, and that was only as someone's plus one. And so to be sitting here today, I am really, really tremendously honored."
