'Friends' star Lisa Kudrow makes rare red carpet appearance with lookalike son Julian Stern at 78th Emmy Awards

Lisa Kudrow and her only child, Julian Stern, wowed in black at the 78th Emmy Awards as they made a rare red carpet appearance together. The actress was dressed in a custom Celine outfit by Michael Rider, comprising a floor-length gown and a cropped blazer. Her 28-year-old looked dapper in a classic black suit. Kudrow's stylist was Rebecca Ramsey, who also added a sparkly ring to accentuate her look.

Kudrow was nominated for both acting and writing roles for 'The Comeback' Season 3 at the 78th Emmy Awards. The show was extra special for the actress because her only son, Julian, also starred in it. He played the role of a tech expert named Evan in five episodes, which he deemed a “dream come true.”

During an earlier interview with Deadline, Julian shared his feelings about working with his famous mother, Lisa Kudrow. He said, "I was really nervous going in, cause I’ve never worked with my mom professionally like that before, and to be on-camera with her, it’s like, ‘Oh God, am I gonna mess this up because I’m only gonna be able to see my mom?’ But my mom, she’s a great actress." Julian further added, "And when I’m talking with my mom, I’m talking with my mom. When I’m talking with Valerie Cherish, different person, and it was really easy to slip into just, ‘Oh yeah, this is a different person, this is a complete stranger.'"

Lisa Kudrow's work in 'The Comeback' season 3 received double recognition at the 78th Emmy Awards, as she was nominated for both writing and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series categories for her role as Valerie Cherish in the series. The actress is also the co-creator and executive producer of the show.

Aside from her son Julian, Lisa Kudrow also posed with Michael Patrick King, who is the co-creator, writer, and executive producer of 'The Comeback.' Like Kudrow, King was also nominated for his writing on the show. The duo shared some warm and friendly moments as they posed for the camera during the Emmy Award arrivals.
