From Jesus to Atlas: 5 AI images that built Trump's larger-than-life brand

The 80-year-old president found himself in hot water after sharing an AI-generated image depicting himself as a Jesus-like figure. The now-deleted image showed Trump in a white robe, placing a glowing hand on the forehead of a sick man, which critics said resembled religious paintings of Jesus healing the infirm. Set against an intensely patriotic backdrop, the image included the Statue of Liberty, a giant US flag, fighter jets, an eagle, a healthcare worker, a praying woman, and what appeared to be a soldier in uniform.

Trump once again sparked conversation when he borrowed a story from Greek mythology and posted another AI image that cast him as Atlas, the Titan famously condemned to carry the heavens on his shoulders. The visual showed him holding up a massive globe, symbolizing a leader bearing the weight of the nation and perhaps the world.

Trump even delved into science fiction with an AI-generated image depicting him alongside a gray, humanoid alien at what seemed to be a military site. This image emerged after Trump authorized the release of the eagerly awaited government files concerning UFOs, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and extraterrestrial life.

Among all the AI-generated images linked to Trump, none generated more buzz than the one portraying him as the pope. Dressed in traditional papal robes and seated in an ornate setting, the image spread rapidly across social media and dominated headlines worldwide. Religious leaders and critics called it disrespectful, while many supporters dismissed it as harmless satire.

Another striking AI creation showed Trump commanding a massive US warship against a dramatic military backdrop. Surrounded by naval power and patriotic imagery, the president was portrayed as a wartime leader firmly in control. Elsewhere in the AI-generated image, explosions appeared to erupt across parts of Earth, seemingly over Ireland and Ukraine, adding to the scene’s cinematic chaos.
