Ivanka Trump marks grandmother’s 100th birthday with rare family photos and moving tribute to mom Ivana

At the center of the celebration was Marie Zelníčková, the Czech-born mother of the late Ivana Trump and grandmother of Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump. One photograph shows Marie seated behind an elaborate cake arranged in the shape of “100” and decorated with fruit and flowers. Another captures the centenarian at the center of a sprawling family photograph taken around the birthday table. Ivanka said the party brought together all three of Marie’s grandchildren and every one of her 10 great-grandchildren.

Ivanka attended with husband Jared Kushner and their three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore. Donald Trump Jr was joined by Bettina Trump and his five children, while Eric Trump attended with wife Lara Trump and their two children. The large group portrait places Marie at the heart of the family, surrounded by her grandchildren, their partners and the youngest generation.

Jared and Ivanka sat alongside Marie with Arabella, Joseph and Theodore as silver “100” balloons filled the background. Marie has become an especially important presence in their household. Ivanka previously revealed that her grandmother lives with her family in Florida and described having her children grow up with Marie at their dinner table as an “extraordinary privilege.”

The celebration also became a journey through the family's past, with Ivanka photographed looking through a large wall of personal pictures assembled for her grandmother's milestone birthday. Among the memories shared was a striking throwback showing a younger Marie “Babi” Zelníčková alongside her daughter Ivana Trump, offering a glimpse of the mother and daughter decades before the family's newest four-generation portrait was taken. Ivana, who died in 2022, was particularly present in Ivanka's reflections on the day. “My mother, her beloved daughter, was deeply missed,” Ivanka wrote, adding that her love and presence could be felt “in the stories we shared and in the family she loved so fiercely.”

Ivanka and Jared's children joined Don Jr's five children and Eric and Lara's two children for the gathering, meaning all 10 of Marie's great-grandchildren were present. Several of the younger family members also posed for their own photographs during the day. Ivanka ended her birthday message by telling her grandmother that her “century of love has shaped generations,” adding that celebrating the milestone was “an honor” and “a joy.”
