Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoy rare outing with all three children at Commonwealth Games

For the netball semi-finals, Prince George and Prince Louis kept it classic in button-down shirts, while Princess Charlotte wore a white polka-dot dress with navy trim. Prince William opted for a navy blazer, while Princess Kate looked elegant in a forest-green Ralph Lauren blazer layered over a white pleated dress as the family arrived together smiling. The outing marked the Wales family's first public joint appearance together since Trooping the Color in June, following their Easter Sunday church service appearance in April. More recently, the royal couple were joined by Prince George and Princess Charlotte at the Wimbledon men's singles final, where the family met champion Jannik Sinner after his victory.

The royal siblings appeared fully engaged in the sporting action while also conversing with those seated around them. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were seen chatting and smiling together, as Prince William looked toward the court. Prince Louis sat quietly beside his older brother, taking in the atmosphere. The family outing also comes after they celebrated a major milestone for Kate Middleton, who completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Photos from the achievement showed Middleton embracing her children in hiking gear after completing a 23-mile trek across the highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland.

Kate Middleton smiled warmly as she chatted with those seated nearby, while Prince William watched the action from the stands. Prince George appeared to be in conversation with Prince Louis, who listened attentively as the brothers followed the sporting event together. While the family spends part of every summer at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, those visits had previously been strictly private. According to The Times, their schedule also includes meeting athletes from the Welsh delegation, spending time with event volunteers, watching track cycling at the velodrome, and attending an engagement with SportsAid, the youth sports charity of which Kate has been patron since 2013.

Following the outing, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared highlights from the day in an August 1 Instagram post. "Incredible atmosphere at the Commonwealth Games today," they wrote alongside a family photo. They continued, "Watching world-class talent compete and seeing the power of sport to bring people together is truly special. Thank you to everyone involved for such a wonderful day."

During the Commonwealth Games, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte delighted athletes with a candid sibling exchange as they discussed their favorite sports. Kate Middleton revealed that Louis had been practicing handstands, prompting the young prince to admit he was "a bit" better at them before joking that Charlotte insists he's "no good." When twin Welsh gymnasts Abigail and Emily Roper asked whether Charlotte could do a handstand herself, she confidently replied that she could, while Prince George laughed and admitted he was "rubbish" at anything requiring flexibility. Charlotte also shared that floor routines are her favorite part of gymnastics, with Kate noting that her daughter enjoys dancing as well.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children were also seen warmly interacting with a group of Commonwealth Games volunteers while attending the sporting event. William, dressed in a navy blue blazer over a light blue shirt, was seen gesturing animatedly while speaking to the volunteers, while Kate was captured smiling.
