WASHINGTON, DC: House Majority Whip Tom Emmer accidentally cursed President Donald Trump as he took the stage at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual dinner in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, April 8.

Tom Emmer started his screeching speech and said, "Hello, fellow Republicans," and was disappointed with the crowd’s response.

He said, "No," and repeated himself more forcefully before stumbling over his words as he said, "Hello feb— fe— fellow Republicans! Where are ya?"

He then launched a glowing review of Trump’s first few months in office and hailed the president for "working at breakneck speed to undo the damage Joe Biden and Kamala Harris inflicted on our country over the past four years," per the outlet.

He then talked about Trump's 'America First' agenda and said, "It’s going to take every person in this room to get the job done, and I know that we will because failure is simply not an option."

He then delivered a speech gaffe as he said, "President c***... Trump is counting on us."

"The American people are counting on us, and our friends in this room and grassroots supporters across the country are counting on us," Emmer added.

He later posted a clip from his speech on X and captioned it, "In just 100 days, President Trump has delivered endless wins for the American people. Whether it is ending the invasion at our southern border or rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse—one thing is clear: America is back!"

Later in the annual dinner, Trump boasted about his newly announced reciprocal tariffs and said that "countries are calling us up, kissing my a**."

Speaking to the crowd, Trump said that he had the "most successful 100 days in the history of this country," according to the Daily Beast

He also said, "This is the largest transaction in the history of our country and don’t let some of these politicians going around saying—you know because I’m telling you, these countries are calling us up kissing my a**. They are. They are dying to make a deal."
