FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA: Democrat congressman Jared Moskowitz, a representative of the 23rd congressional district in Florida, employed the services of the former congressman George Santos on Cameo to ridicule Congressman James Comer, who chairs the House Oversight Committee, tasked with investigating an impeachment inquiry relating to President Joe Biden.

Rep Moskowitz captioned the video he posted on X in a tongue-in-cheek way, saying, "My dear friend James Comer has had a tough year filled with failed hearing after failed hearing. But in the spirit of Hanukkah, I wanted to offer him some words of encouragement from a Jew-ish former colleague of ours."

What did Rep Moskowitz’s Cameo video featuring George Santos entail?

In the video, Santos, under Rep Moskowitz's direction, discusses an altercation that took place in November concerning reports that Comer had engaged in business dealings with his brother while leading an investigation into President Joe Biden's family and their business dealings.

Santos says in the video, "Hey James, just wanted to stop by to congratulate you for being the largest landowner in your county with your brother through all your LLCs."

Rep Comer had allegedly provided loans to his brother, amounting to $200,000, in a land swap related to their family farming business, according to a report by The Messenger.

The personalized video in question, alluded to the heated dispute the two representatives had in November of this year during a House hearing, where Comer made denigrating comments about Moskowitz, saying that the Democrat looked like a ‘Smurf.’

Santos continued in the video, “I think it's amazing that you share a passion for Smurfs and the Pink Panther."

He concluded the video by saying, “Look, congrats on your promotion. I hope that the struggles of this year don't transfer to next year and that you slay and kill it. I want to wish you, James, a very happy Hanukkah. Bye.”
