WASHINGTON, DC: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries condemned Donald Trump for bringing Laura Loomer to a 9/11 commemoration.

Kamala Harris' campaign shared the video of Jeffries, the US representative for New York’s 8th district, on X (formerly Twitter), calling the decision, “shocking, irresponsible, and offensive," reported MSNBC.

“The fact that on Sept. 11, this sacred day, he would bring a 9/11 conspiracy theorist to participate in events during this solemn commemoration should shock the conscience of all decent Americans,” Jeffries said at a press conference on Thursday, September 12.

Sen Lindsey Graham slams Laura Loomer over racial remark

Earlier, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), urged Donald Trump to keep his distance from far-right conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, who was seen with the former president.

“We have policy disagreements but the history of this person is just really toxic. I mean, she actually called for Kellyanne Conway’s daughter to hang herself. I don’t know how this all happened, but, no, I don’t think it’s helpful. I don’t think it’s helpful at all,” Graham told HuffPost.

Loomer is referred to as a right-wing activist, and a radical conspiracy theorist by many. She has previously called the September 11, 2001, terror attacks an “inside job” and is known for her anti-Muslim rhetoric.

"Laura Loomer is the leader of the conspiracy theorists within MAGA. She shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near politics. She’s racist and constantly here on X calling people names and slurs. The fact that Trump has her with him shows how unfit he is," the second wrote.

"Trump has no regard for anyone nor anything. Trump only went to the memorial for a photo opp. He doesn't care about anyone, except himself," said another individual.

One mocked, "He is surrounded by them, talking about people eating cats at presidential debate."

"The amount of lies during the debate was offensive to the American people, you people must think Americans are stupid, but we are not, we see right through you," shared someone else.
