WASHINGTON, DC: Kamala Harris’ campaign mocked Donald Trump by posting a video of him and the crowd attending his rally.

The account named @KamalaHQ posted the clip on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, August 24, after making it using different points in Trump's speech as it only included the parts where attendees were seen yawning, Newsweek reported.

However, it was not clear from which rally the snippets were taken.

The footage also showed the Republican leader saying, “Because people get bored, but they don't get bored with me,” as a musical background of a lullaby played along.

The video was captioned as “It’s getting old @realdonaldtrump 🥱.”

Netizens call Donald Trump ‘boring’

Many people commented on the video and called Donald Trump "boring". One X user said, “It’s BEEN old for so long. What a snooze fest.”

Another commented, “Same crap over and over since 2016 gets beyond old and stale.”

One person shared, “Trump is so boring. His crowd size keeps getting smaller with each passing day. He's losing support and I love it.”

Another stated, “This election season is really getting to me now. I want Kamala to win so badly, but I just want it to be over. The orange beast never seems to sleep. Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

“Trump once represented rebellion against the status quo. He was the bully who could bring change. Now? He’s an old movie that keeps playing in a theatre that’s closed down,” one netizen wrote.

A tweet read, “It's beyond old, stale, and lame. Trump has been touting this same doom and gloom rhetoric for 10 years with NO NEW MATERIAL! However, after November, he never has to worry about it again!”

Another tweet was “The yawn montage I didn’t know I needed 😂🤣😂.”

A person commented, “Hours and hours and hours of lies, lies and more lies. That’s all he does. Rambles lies at rallies and posts on truth social all day and night long.”

Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic nomination at the DNC

The tweet from the Kamala Harris' campaign came after the Vice President accepted the Democratic party’s nomination on Thursday, August 22 at the DNC in Chicago, Illinois.

She told the crowd during the last day of the DNC, according to The Guardian, “So, on behalf of the people, on behalf of every American, regardless of party, race, gender or the language your grandmother speaks, on behalf of my mother and everyone who has ever set out on their own unlikely journey on behalf of Americans, like the people I grew up with, people who work hard, chase their dreams and look out for one another, on behalf of everyone whose story could only be written in the greatest nation on Earth, I accept your nomination for president of the United States of America.”

Kamala Harris ‘honeymoon will end’ soon, says expert

But now political scientist Thomas Gift, who heads the Centre on US Politics at University College London, thinks that Kamala Harris has to step up her game.

“Harris has been basking in adulation and positive media coverage for weeks. But her honeymoon will end. Once she is forced to get specific on policies, Americans will be reminded of why Harris was rated as one of the most liberal senators in Congress,” he told Newsweek.

“Trump will also get better at knowing what lines of attack work against Harris. Expect to hear the phrase 'San Francisco liberal' over and over and over. Just weeks ago, it looked like Trump would cruise to victory. Now, many think the exact opposite. What we know for sure is that a lot can happen between now and Election Day on November 5,” Gift added.
