Harry Styles chokes on water before briefly collapsing onstage as London concert video goes viral
LONDON, ENGLAND: Harry Styles gave fans a genuine scare after a viral video captured him choking on water and briefly collapsing during his Wembley Stadium concert in London.
The unexpected moment happened near the end of the show, leaving thousands in the crowd holding their breath as clips quickly spread across social media.
With London in the middle of a scorching heat wave, it remains unclear whether the extreme temperatures played any role in the incident. Thankfully, the scare was brief, and Styles was able to recover before leaving the stage.
Harry Styles briefly collapses after choking on water during London concert
The incident occurred during the final moments of Styles' concert as he performed his chart-topping hit 'As It Was.' Like he often does during his shows, the singer grabbed a bottle of water before attempting his signature move of spraying it into the air.
This time, however, things did not go as planned. Instead, he appeared to choke on the water, breaking into a coughing fit before suddenly falling backward onto the stage. The incident happened so quickly that the audience did not immediately realize Styles was in distress.
Videos shared by concertgoers show Styles lying on the floor for several seconds as he tried to catch his breath. He could be seen loosening his tie and clutching his chest while the crowd watched in silence before erupting into cheers of encouragement.

The clip quickly went viral, with many fans expressing concern online and questioning why no one immediately rushed to check on him. Fortunately, after about 15 to 20 seconds, Styles slowly stood up, waved to the audience, and walked offstage.
The scare came as London baked under one of its hottest June heat waves in years. Temperatures soared to 37.3 degrees Celsius (99.1 degrees Fahrenheit) in Suffolk on Friday, breaking a 50-year-old June record by more than a degree, according to the BBC. Meanwhile, London recorded a high of 97 degrees Fahrenheit (36.1 degrees Celsius), per AccuWeather.
Harry Styles continues Wembley Stadium shows after onstage scare
The scary moment does not appear to have changed Styles' plans. According to his official website, his Wembley Stadium run will continue with concerts on June 29, July 1, July 3, and July 4. Those dates also mean he will reportedly miss Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding next weekend, if he was invited in the first place.
While there is no confirmation that Styles is on the guest list, the speculation has drawn attention because he and Swift briefly dated from late 2012 to early 2013, a romance fans famously dubbed "Haylor."
Reports claim Styles will not be able to attend because of his London concert commitments. While the singer has not addressed either the onstage incident or the wedding speculation, fans were relieved to see him recover quickly after the brief scare.
