LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hayden Panettiere's estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, recently revealed new details about her late daughter. Vogel now claims that Panettiere's former boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, pawned some of her daughter's belongings before her death.

Hayden Panettiere's mother says Brian Hickerson pawned her belongings
Vogel said she felt shocked after she found out that Hickerson, who filed for bankruptcy in 2022, had allegedly pawned some of Panettiere's belongings, including a vintage guitar.
Vogel also said that Panettiere was surprised to learn that Hickerson had some of Panettiere's belongings in a storage unit.
Page Six reached out to Hickerson's attorney, Sloan Ellis, for a reaction to the claims. His team said they had nothing to say beyond their earlier statement. Ellis had told the publication before, "Hayden's death is still being looked into and it is important to let that investigation happen."
"As has been made public the police said there were no signs of something happening," the statement added. "Out of respect for Hayden's family and because the investigation is still going on there will be no comments, for now."
Hayden Panettiere's mother questions Brian Hickerson's account of her death
During an interview with the Daily Mail, Vogel questioned the account given by Panettiere's on-and-off boyfriend, Hickerson, calling it essentially "full of holes." She also said she told police what she believed about her daughter's relationship with Hickerson and described him as "culpable."
Vogel also raised questions about Hickerson's version of events, saying, "I don't know how you can take a nap near someone who’s dying and not realize something's wrong." She added, "I think Brian called his brother. My opinion. I think he knew she was deceased. Called his brother, and tried and built this story.”
Hickerson's attorney previously said, "As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play. Out of respect for Hayden's loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time."
Hayden Panettiere and Brian Hickerson's relationship
For those unaware, Panettiere and Hickerson began dating in 2018 and had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship. During their time together, the actress' neighbor claimed she witnessed two incidents involving Panettiere being taken out of her Los Angeles apartment on a gurney.
Mia Terrazas, who still lives at the same West Hollywood complex, exclusively told Page Six that the incidents happened on July 29, 2023, and January 16, 2024. "It appeared that she had been beaten up. It wasn't apparent to me that it could have been anything else," Terrazas said, adding that Panettiere allegedly often looked "battered.”
