'He is 100% correct on this!' Internet sides with Charlie Kirk as he says Elise Stefanik's chances of being Trump's VP are over

WASHINGTON, DC: Charlie Kirk, a passionate conservative, asserted that Rep Elise Stefanik's (R-NY) most recent vote to extend FISA has diminished her prospects of being the vice president of former President Donald Trump, as per Mediaite.

Notably, a bipartisan amendment put up by Rep Andy Biggs (R-AZ) was voted down by 86 Republicans on Friday, April 12. The proposal would have required the FBI to get a search warrant to review foreign intelligence material for references to the American people.

According to CNN, the Biden administration and conservative national security hawks have initiated a lobbying effort to urge senators to reject the amendment, citing concerns raised by it.

Stefanik was among the 86 lawmakers who opposed the amendment after previously voting in favor of renewing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

In response, Kirk informed listeners of 'The Charlie Kirk Show' on Friday that Stefanik had eliminated the possibility of running as Trump's vice presidential nominee in the 2024 contest against Vice President Joe Biden.

Before getting to Stefanik, Kirk read out the names of every Republican who voted against Biggs' amendment to start the section. Then, Kirk promised to "actively oppose" Stefanik's nomination as the running mate for the Republican nominee among Trump's inner circle.

Kirk said, "Elise Stefanik you have ended your running to be Donald Trump’s vice president. Elise Stefanik, you’re done! We will now actively oppose you to be Trump’s VP. Nice person. You just ended your VP political career. All that ambition for nothing."
