Notably, after a tiring day of elimination voting and a wild four days, the Libertarian Party selected one of its own as its presidential contender on Sunday night, as per the New York Times.

At the party's national convention in Washington, Chase Oliver, an openly gay former Democrat who forced a runoff in a Georgia US Senate seat in 2022, was chosen as the nominee after defeating nine other contenders.

Among the most well-known minor parties, the Libertarian Party is featured on the majority of state ballots in November and has a well-known name. In at least 37 states, the Libertarian nominee is assured a spot on the November ballot, and party officials anticipate that number to rise in the upcoming months.
