FREELAND, MICHIGAN: Donald Trump faced significant backlash recently after he encountered trouble with a teleprompter while addressing a crowd at his Michigan rally just hours after he bombarded current POTUS Joe Biden with insults for using these devices.

Previously, Biden made an embarrassing gaffe on stage by reading the instructions off the teleprompter with the speech while he was interacting with a crowd at the trade union conference in Washington.

Trump trolled the POTUS for using a teleprompter, however, now finds himself as a subject of mockery among internet users due to his teleprompter mishap.

Donald Trump faces teleprompter mishap at Michigan rally

According to Newsweek, there was quite an embarrassing moment at a campaign rally in Michigan where the former US president had a meltdown over teleprompters.

Trump, who had earlier mocked President Biden for using them, struggled to conduct his speech smoothly when a gust of wind sent one teleprompter flying out of his view in Freeland, Michigan.

As per Newsweek, as Trump was listing his policy goals, the teleprompter mishap threw him off his words. He said, "Whether you're conservative or you're liberal, it's about common sense. We want to have strong borders, we want to have low-interest rates, we want to have a powerful military, we want to have ... we want to have great ... by the way, it's windy as hell up here!"

Frustrated, he even pointed to the malfunctioning device and took a jab at Biden.

In a moment of irritation, Trump asserted, "I'm getting very little use out of these stupid teleprompters. Can you imagine if Biden was up here and the teleprompters didn't work? He's no good even when they do work ... It still doesn't work."

Later, as he discussed legal troubles, the teleprompter trouble resurfaced, prompting more complaints from Trump as he moved to adjust it manually, Newsweek reports.

In frustration, Trump conveyed, "This teleprompter is facing you, not facing me. These teleprompters are just gonzo, folks! They're gonzo!"
