PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former President Donald Trump accused "Democrats" of using artificial intelligence to connect him to Jeffrey Epstein on Tuesday, January 9, in the continuing fallout from allegations in recently revealed court documents linking several influential people, including Trump, to the sex offender.

Trump made these remarks on his social media platform, Truth Social, sharing a Daily Mail report about actor and Democratic activist Mark Ruffalo's apology for sharing fake images that purported to show Trump traveling to Epstein's notorious private island.

Per Forbes, last week on Friday, Ruffalo shared two photographs of Trump on a plane with groups of young girls, stating they were "all headed to Epstein’s 'Fantasy Island.'"

After users highlighted the post with further context and said it was AI-generated, Ruffalo subsequently apologized.

Nevertheless, Trump's assertion that he never flew on Epstein's airplane contradicts the flight logs that the prosecution and the witness testimony presented, as the 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner makes at least seven appearances on the Epstein Flight Logs, according to MeidasTouch.

What did Trump say in his Truth Social post on Tuesday?

Apart from drawing a comparison between Ruffalo's post and “what the Democrats do to their Republican Opponent,” Trump refuted any knowledge of having been aboard Epstein's aircraft or his Caribbean private island, where the alleged sexual assault of young girls took place.

Trump claimed he never flew on Epstein’s plane, stating “Also, I was never on Epstein's plane, or at his ’stupid’ Island.”

Trump said on Tuesday that "strong laws ought to be developed against AI", predicting that artificial intelligence "will be a big and very dangerous problem in the future."

Despite Trump's vehement refusal of having to do anything with the deceased sex offender, recent court filings have persisted in implying ties between the former president and Jeffrey Epstein, per DailyMail.

Epstein's housekeeper Juan Alessi, who worked for the multi-millionaire between 1990 and 2002, testified that Trump frequently visited Epstein at his Palm Beach estate, but he never received massages, never spent the night, and always shared meals with the workers in the kitchen.

Trump has never been accused of any wrongdoing, and reportedly he and Epstein had a falling out over a Palm Beach real estate project in 2004.

However, the two men had a close relationship for more than ten years, during which time Epstein's notorious "black book" contained sixteen phone numbers for Trump.

In 2002, Trump told New York magazine, "I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it - Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

In July 2019, after Epstein was arrested, Trump said he only knew Epstein because "everybody in Palm Beach" did.

Trump disclosed at the time that he had not spoken to Epstein "in 15 years" due to "a falling out."

He specifically pointed out that Epstein was never a member of his Mar-a-Lago club, adding, "I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you."

Epstein's Palm Beach mansion, the waterfront estate, which is located approximately over a mile away from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago, was one of Epstein's many locations where he sexually abused underage girls.

The infamous mansion is believed to have been sold for $18 million having been listed for $21.9 million in 2020.

Internet trolls Trump for his vociferous claims of having never been on Epstein's private airplane

People on X quipped at the former President's refusal of having anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein back in the early 2000s, despite corroborating evidence that suggests that they were close at one point in time.

One X user remarked, "His cult will believe it."

Another user said, "Sure seems like denying that he flew on the plane should be, I don’t know, some sort of red flag?"

Another user wrote, "AI is a new and very believable lie for his followers".

One user quipped, "This time it's AI. Next it'll be Hunter disguised as him".

Another X user remarked, "Trump is lying, again. Still."

Finally, this user tweeted, "Pretty amazing that AI faked those old hand-written logs!"
