'Hit the genetic lottery': Internet gushes over 1st pic of Sukie Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson's child

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Suki Waterhouse left the internet in frenzy after sharing a glimpse of her baby with Robert Pattinson. 

The 32-year-old new mother shared a photo of her cradling the baby wrapped in a blanket on Instagram on Thursday, April 4, with the caption, “Welcome to the world, angel.”

The child’s face was, however, not visible in the photo and the couple has not yet revealed the gender of their newborn.

Last week, the ‘Twilight’ star and the English actress were seen walking through Los Angeles with a pink baby stroller, per Hollywood Life. The sighting confirmed that the ‘Persuasion’ actress had welcomed her first child with Pattinson, 37, after revealing her pregnancy in November 2023.

Celebrities and fans alike went into a frenzy as Suki Waterhouse shared the first picture of the couple's baby. 

Paris Hilton sounded a happy relative, as she said, "Congratulations love! So happy for you both!🥰." The 'Me Before You' star Sam Claflin fawned, "😍❤🙌 ."

While Selena Gomez said, "Congratulations 😍," Lilly Collins used quite a few heart-eye emojis to express her happiness. "😍😍😍😍," posted Collins. 

Alyssa Milano quipped, "Now the fun really begins." "Oh my goodness😴😴😴," gushed Camila Morrone. Halsey, on the other hand, declared, "ROCKSTAR MOM!"

Fans too were ecstatic at the prospect of Waterhouse sharing the picture of the baby. 

One of the fans happily said, "That child hit the genetic lottery."

Someone else added, "This baby has no idea who their parents are." Another fan gushed, "Child’s gene pool is made of gold omg."

As a social media user quipped, "Tell the father to at least come out for family photo 😂," someone else replied, "He’s the one taking it." "Always the photographer daddy 😉," gushed another fan.

"The real baby renesmee 🥹," said someone referring to Edward's baby from 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn'.

"That child gonna be the most beautiful baby," sais someone else.

Suki Waterhouse gushed about Robert Pattinson

The ‘Batman’ star and the songstress started dating in 2018, but kept their relationship private until they started making a few public appearances together in 2023.

In February 2023, Waterhouse gushed about her partner in an interview with The Sunday Times, saying, “I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I’m going back to see [Rob]."

“Then, he’ll come out for a couple of days. I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years. … I’m always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me,” said the talented star.

She further added, “We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.”
