LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: According to reports, pregnant Suki Waterhouse is pressuring fiance Robert Pattinson to arrange a secretive shotgun wedding a few weeks before she is expected to give birth to their first child.
In November 2023, while playing at the Corona Capital Music Festival, Waterhouse, 32, revealed she was expecting her and Pattison's first child.
Insiders reveal Suki Waterhouse prefers to have her baby in wedlock
The couple declared their engagement not long after Waterhouse revealed she was pregnant. According to insiders, the 32-year-old singer is hoping for a private relationship with the 37-year-old 'Batman' actor.
Waterhouse would reportedly like to have her child in a married relationship rather than an unmarried one, per Radar Online.
An insider told the National Enquirer, "Rob is excited to be a dad but didn't think there was any rush to tie the knot, but Suki's convinced him they can have TWO weddings."
The source revealed that the couple will have more conventional private nuptials following the birth of their baby. "The first will be a very small gathering of their closest friends and family, more like a dinner party than a wedding," the source said.
Even while the plans appear hurried, insiders claim it is not because Waterhouse worries Pattinson might change his mind.
"It's not that Suki doubts Robert's love or the depth of his commitment, but she comes from a traditional family and would rather raise her child in one as well," said the insider. "The main thing is they'll legally be wed before that baby pops out!"

An insider earlier claimed that the singer was overjoyed to have a ring on her finger—especially after making her pregnancy announcement public during the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico.
The insider continued, "She’s been careful not to push Rob into proposing. It’s what she’s wanted — and what better time than the holidays to get engaged!" per OK! Magazine.
Before the big moment, Waterhouse stated, "I'm extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that's going on. I'm not sure if it's working."
According to a second source, the couple is thrilled to have a family of three. "[Robert] and Suki are very serious and have been. A baby coming is an absolute joy for them. They are thrilled beyond words," the source told People at the time.
