‘Horrible man’: Internet slams Biden as he does not acknowledge fifth granddaughter at Women’s History Month event

WASHINGTON, DC: While speaking at a Women's History Month event at the White House on Monday, March 18, President Joe Biden declined to mention his fifth grandchild, who was born out of wedlock to his first son, Hunter Biden, as per New York Post.

The President said, "I see a future for all Americans, a future for my daughter and my four granddaughters – by the way, they’re incredible. You should meet my granddaughters. Oh, you think I’m kidding. I’m not."

Biden does not acknowledge fifth granddaughter

Biden has frequently said that he only has six grandchildren, excluding Hunter's daughter Navy Joan Roberts, 4, who is the daughter of Lunden Roberts, his baby mama from Arkansas.

After his troubled son resolved his child support lawsuit with Lunden Roberts in July, the President made a public admission of Navy Joan Roberts' existence and said that he wanted 'what is best' for the young girl, in a statement.

Biden mentioned in a written statement given to People magazine, "Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward."

He added, "This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter. Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy."

Notably, in court filings from a year ago about the child support issue, Roberts stated that Hunter 'has never seen or contacted' Navy and that the President and First Lady Jill Biden 'remain estranged' from her.

Roberts’ lawyer, Clint Lancaster, told the New York Post in 2023, "Lunden is a great mom, and little Navy is going be fine. Everybody is disappointed that there’s not more contact [with the Biden family]."

Internet slams Biden for not acknowledging his fifth granddaughter

Several social media users took a jibe at President Biden for not acknowledging his fifth granddaughter.
