WASHINGTON, DC: Lunden Roberts, who famously had an out-of-wedlock child with Hunter Biden, will soon unveil a tell-all book detailing her relationship with the president’s son.

The book - titled 'Out of the Shadows: My Life Inside the Wild World of Hunter Biden' - is set to be released on August 20, coinciding with the Democratic National Convention.

Lunden Roberts' book announcement and contents

On Tuesday, May 28, Skyhorse Publishing announced the upcoming release, describing it as a "rollercoaster ride of a relationship" between Hunter Biden and Roberts, who gave birth to their daughter, Navy Joan, in August 2018.

In a brief excerpt shared by the publishing house, Roberts recounts a surreal scene: "He was sitting there wearing nothing but parrot boxer briefs, organizing his pipes on his Rosemont Seneca desk. I was sitting in Barack Obama's actual chair from the Senate floor."

She reflects on her initial attraction to Hunter, writing, "I took another look at Hunter - this kind, intense, and startlingly transparent man - and thought, 'this is definitely a guy I want to get to know better.'"

Skyhorse Publishing hints at even more dramatic content, including mentions of "the drug cook working in Rosemont Seneca's kitchen" and Hunter’s escapades in strip clubs, where he sometimes tried the pole himself.

Roberts, who reportedly worked at the Mpire strip club in Washington, DC, during her brief relationship with Hunter Biden, is expected to reveal numerous explosive stories in her memoir.

The book teases incidents where Roberts protected Hunter "from would-be terrorists in New York City" and described a violent altercation with a "crazed MMA fighter" involving two guns.

The memoir is anticipated to reveal "dozens of other stories that make the laptop debacle seem routine," referencing the infamous controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's laptop.

Hunter and Roberts’ relationship occurred in late 2017, a particularly tumultuous period in Hunter's life as he struggled with a crack cocaine addiction following his brother Beau’s death in 2015. During this time, Hunter was also involved with his late brother's widow, Hallie Biden.

Hunter Biden's admissions and White House's response

In his own memoir, 'Beautiful Things,' Hunter Biden discusses his troubled past and brief, often transactional relationships with women. He wrote that besides Hallie the "other women I'd been with during rampages since my divorce were hardly the dating type."

"We would satisfy our immediate needs and little else. I'm not proud of it," he wrote.

Referring to his encounter with Roberts, Hunter confessed, "I had no recollection of our encounter. That's how little connection I had with anyone. I was a mess, but a mess I've taken responsibility for."

After paternity was established, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden publicly acknowledged their seventh grandchild in July 2023.

"Our son Hunter and Navy's mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward," the Bidens stated to People magazine.

"This is not a political issue, it's a family matter," they continued. "Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy."

During a White House press briefing on Tuesday, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about Roberts' forthcoming book and whether President Biden had met Navy Joan. "I don't have anything to share," Jean-Pierre responded, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Social media erupts to news of Roberts' new book

The announcement of Roberts' tell-all memoir has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media.

One user posted on X, “A woman scorned...,” quoting the famous line from William Congreve's play The Mourning Bride: "Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor Hell a fury like a woman scorned."

"Trump should invite her as his guest at the debate lol," another quipped.

"I mean good for her. Hope it actually helps her get some money to raise her kid that the entire Biden family pretends doesn’t exist," someone else offered.

"Good for her. The settlement she got from Hunter was utter shite. A few of his god-awful paintings and the kid can't even use the only valuable thing Hunter owns: his last name," a comment read.

"That little girl is probably better off not being involved with that messed up family," another insisted.
