MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On the recent episode of 'The Tonight Show', on April 12 Jimmy Fallon joked about obtaining Donald Trump's tax returns, timed humorously with the approaching tax deadline on April 15th.

Fallon quipped that the information revealed in Trump's tax returns was 'pretty gross', particularly noting his purported sales of Trump-endorsed, Lee Greenwood-branded Bibles.

Jimmy Fallon pokes fun at Trump's tax return in hilarious monologue

"Everyone's working on their taxes, and get this, we actually got our hands on former President Trump's tax return," Fallon shared in his monologue.

He added, "It's pretty interesting. Take a look. First up under 'gross income', he wrote, 'Selling Bibles for $60'. That's pretty gross."

Fallon continued with the joke, saying, "Next, under marital status he wrote, 'It's complicated.' And finally, under place of residency, he wrote, 'Court.'"

Shifting gears back to Donald Trump, Fallon remarked, "Speaking of Trump, on April 15 here in New York City, his first-ever criminal trial begins.

As we speak, Trump is frantically adding a second red line on a COVID test with a magic marker. It was evident that Fallon was referencing the ongoing situation.

Fallon also joked about the Golden Bachelor's divorce, quipping, "Don't laugh out loud. Come on. This is after just three months of marriage. Yeah. You could tell the relationship was in trouble a few weeks ago when Gary turned off his hearing aids. You know, 'Gary, are you listening to me?' Apparently, the marriage got off to a rocky start. Gary said, 'Even with all the glaucoma, I saw this coming'."

Shifting to lighter news, Fallon shared, "Then Fallon talked about some rather cool news — Japan is sending someone to the moon. 'This was just announced, that a Japanese astronaut will become the first non-American ever to land on the moon. Yep, and Shohei Otani just signed up his interpreter to be the test pilot."
