NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), on Monday, October 6, was delighted that Fox News played a clip of her mocking Stephen Miller during his live TV appearance.

The senior White House aide appeared awkwardly in a small window on the program ‘The Ingraham Angle’, while a clip was broadcast showing Ocasio-Cortez declaring that Miller is “angry” over his height.

“And he looks like he is so mad that he is 4′10″ that he’s taking that anger out at any other population possible. Like, laugh at them! Laugh at them!” said Ocasio-Cortez during an Instagram livestream posted on Sunday, October 5.

Ocasio-Cortez then described Miller, who said he is actually 5′10″, as a “clown” fueled by “insecure masculinity” before encouraging her followers to take on him and others in the MAGA movement by simply “making fun of them.”

Reacting to the clip, Miller laughed when Laura Ingraham described him as AOC’s “favorite target.”

Proceeding with a chuckle, Miller said, “Well, we knew — we knew that her brain didn’t work, now we know their eyes don’t work.” “The — I mean, she’s just, she’s a mess, right? What a trainwreck! What a trainwreck!”

Ocasio-Cortez later addressed the moment by taking to X (formerly Twitter), "I cannot believe they aired this and made him listen to it live I am crying," she wrote with a laughing emoji.

In the live-streamed video, AOC further argued that threats from conservative men stem from “insecure masculinity” rather than just “toxic masculinity”.

She said that the best way to challenge them is by mocking their overcompensation, while promoting examples of secure, confident men who are not threatened by the success of other men.

She concluded by asserting that her remarks were not about height, but about insecurity-driven behaviour.
