Reflecting on her nervous experience hosting the iconic comedy show at just 14 years old, Foster humorously recounted an unfortunate incident involving an Orange Julius mishap.

Jodie Foster's missed encounter with Princess Leia's legacy

The conversation then took an unexpected turn when Fallon brought up a fascinating tidbit from the internet. It was revealed that Jodie Foster was offered the iconic role of Princess Leia in 'Star Wars.'

Foster confirmed the offer, explaining that they were looking for a younger Princess Leia at the time. However, she had a conflicting commitment to a Disney movie and opted not to pull out due to her existing contract.

"I was, yeah, and they were going for a younger, you know, Princess Leia. But I had a conflict. I was doing a Disney movie, and I just didn't want to pull out of the Disney movie because I had already, I was already under contract, so I didn't do it," Foster revealed.

Acknowledging the fantastic job done by Carrie Fisher in the role, Foster maintained a humble perspective, stating, "I don't know how good I would have been. I might have had a different hair, you know. I might have gone with a pineapple."
