LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', actor and comedian Ike Barinholtz shared a hilarious and memorable experience of smoking weed with the legendary Norman Lear and Woody Harrelson.

The incident took place after a wrap party for 'Live in Front of a Studio Audience', a show produced by Jimmy Kimmel. Barinholtz provided insights into the evening, shedding light on the unexpected twist when Woody Harrelson pulled out what he humorously referred to as an "outer space joint."

The unforgettable night

The candid conversation unfolded as Ike Barinholtz shared a photograph capturing a moment with Woody Harrelson and the late, great Norman Lear.

The trio had gathered at a post-party celebration, and what transpired next became the stuff of legends. Barinholtz described the event with a mix of awe and humor, creating a vivid picture of the unexpected turn the evening took.

Woody Harrelson's 'outer space joint'

As Barinholtz recounted the evening, he highlighted Woody Harrelson's penchant for unique smoking experiences.

Barinholtz humorously recalled the scene, stating, "Woody pulls out one of his what I call outer space joints and hands it to me. I'm a seasoned veteran, so I can handle myself."

Norman Lear's brave move

The narrative took an intriguing turn when Norman Lear, in his late 90s, reached for the joint. Barinholtz admitted to feeling a twinge of concern for Lear, considering the treasure that the veteran producer and writer was.

Expressing his initial worry about sharing the joint with Lear, Barinholtz amusingly noted, "I know that before when I've partaken in Woody's weed, I'm like the astronaut at the end of 2001. I'm just depersonalized, even me." However, to his surprise, Lear not only took a couple of big puffs but also handled it beautifully, much to Barinholtz's relief.

A cannabis Mount Rushmore moment

The conversation took a humorous turn as Barinholtz likened Norman Lear to Teddy Roosevelt on the Mount Rushmore of smoking pot. Lear's willingness to partake in Woody Harrelson's potent joint, coupled with his evident enjoyment, painted a picture of an iconic moment in cannabis history.

Describing the moment with admiration, Barinholtz expressed, "What could be better than that? Like, first of all, you got one of the members of the Mount Rushmore of smoking pot right there. He's our Teddy Roosevelt."
