MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Jimmy Kimmel launched into 2024 with a stern message directed at NFL star Aaron Rodgers, recently making a post on Twitter with the caption, "Jimmy’s thoughts on quarterback Karen Rodgers…"

The quarterback had suggested that the late-night host wouldn't be pleased with the imminent release of a court document revealing individuals linked to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Kimmel suggests Aaron making damaging statements 'in court'

In a previous move, Kimmel clarified that he had no association with making it to Epstein's list.

In response to Rodgers' remarks, Kimmel issued a legal warning, emphasizing that such implications were unfounded and could lead to legal consequences.

Kimmel said on January 8, “I suggested that if Aaron wanted to make false and very damaging statements like that we should do it in court so he could share his proof with, like, a judge."

“A lot of delusional people honestly believe I am meeting up with Tom Hanks and Oprah at Shakey’s once a week to eat pizza and drink the blood of children,” Kimmel said.

“I know this because I hear from these people often. My wife hears from them. My kids hear from them. My poor mailman hears from these people. And now we’re hearing from lots more of them thanks to Aaron Rodgers," he continued.

Jimmy Kimmel dedicated seven minutes of his opening monologue to responding to Aaron Rodgers, referring to the NFL star's comments as coming from a "hamster brain." Following this, Kimmel had a message for individuals on the right entangled in conspiracy theories.

Addressing them directly, he stated, "If you are a member of a group that thinks it’s OK to randomly call someone a child molester because you don’t like what that person has to say, maybe you should rethink being part of that group."

Netizens react

As Kimmel emphasized the importance of reconsidering such unfounded accusations and the potential consequences they carry, netizens took a different approach to the situation.

Some of the comments read, "Damn this guy really triggered you. It doesn’t speak highly of you to talk so bad about him. No idea how you still have a tv show."

"Problem is Rogers is used to the haters and seriously doesn’t care. You can tell Jimmy next level anger and aggression and instead of clearly calmly telling the jokes and showing he is above the tabloid mudslinging, and saving the rest for court, he lets rogers win and shows it’s getting to him. Then again he can’t control himself talking Trump either. I disliked Trump for 20 plus years when he was a democrat and never like a single tv show of his either, but never let him or any other obnoxious pompous types get to me."

"@AaronRodgers12 living rent free in that vacuum between your ears."

While others said, "But hurt Jimmy. Lol. He triggered. Have a sook."

"Can you and Aaron just make out and get over it?"

The ongoing feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Aaron Rodgers shows no signs of simmering down, and currently, it seems like Kimmel has control of the narrative as per Front Office Sports
