NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Nikki Haley's backers aren't bothered by her loss at the New Hampshire primary, rather they're excited that she's trailing former President Donald Trump by only 10 points as more votes are tallied.

Despite addressing her supporters just 20 minutes after polls closed, some key supporters hadn't arrived at the conference center ballroom in Concord.

Following this news, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter to take a brutal jab at Haley as many X users agreed with the host’s remarks.

Laura Ingraham claims it will only ‘get harder’ for Nikki Haley

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “If she can’t win decisively in NH with her brand of Republican politics (supported by billionaires and the Boston Globe), it’s over.  It will only get harder from here.”

Ingraham’s tweet featured an article from Politico titled, “Haley's supporters don't care that she lost.”

In the article, it was reported that following the New Hampshire primary, Nikki Haley, who failed to win over Donald Trump doesn’t have worried supporters as many of her followers are lauding her trailing the former president by 10 points.

One of Haley’s campaign co-chairs in the state and former speaker pro team of the state House, Kimberly Rice said, “I feel so positive and just so optimistic for the future.”

Haley addressed her supporters about 20 minutes after the final polls closed, appearing before some of her major supporters in the state had arrived at the Concord conference center ballroom.

Typically, the events hosted by the former South Carolina governor in this area are not lively gatherings.

It would be expected if Tuesday’s event followed suit, she is, after all, projected to lose the state where she had her most promising, perhaps only, chance of defeating Trump.

However, the crowd was enthusiastic, cheering, shouting her name, and expressing disapproval at the thought of another Joe Biden administration.

As soon as she concluded her speech, they streamed into the lobby for drinks (with a buffet that was already being cleared).

The prevailing message they conveyed was one of optimism, that despite the challenging odds faced by Haley, especially as the competition shifts to her home state, this GOP primary race won't conclude in New Hampshire.

Keene Mayor George Hansal told Politico, “She did what she had to do in New Hampshire to make these other primary states pay attention to her and her message. They’re going to see exactly what I see — an authentic person who is somebody we can all look up to.”

Internet agrees with Laura Ingraham’s brutal jab at Nikki Haley

Many X users supported and backed Laura Ingraham’s comments to Nikki Haley.

One person wrote, “She will lose her home state by 20+ points,” and another said, “I don’t think Haley going to beat Trump.”

An X user expressed, “Not surprised given it is likely that a high percentage of Nikki’s votes came from Democrats that voted in the Republican primary,” and another wrote, “I wonder how may hundred of millions of dollars did she waisted In vain!! I like to know who the donors are?   🤔.”

One more person slammed Haley, “Owned by the rich because she’s chasing the money,” and another added, “Nikki’s days as a promising rising star in the Republican party  are basically over. Nikki should ask herself why do the lefties “like” her so much.”
