LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a surprising turn of events, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has come under scrutiny from legal analyst and commentator Leo Terrell.

Terrell, known for his outspoken views, took to X on February 4 to accuse Haley of betraying her commitment to oppose and veto net tax hikes. His tweet read, "Traitor @NikkiHaley is doing everything possible to help Joe Biden! DISGRACEFUL."

This controversy stems from a town hall event on January 4, where CNN moderator Erin Burnett questioned Haley about a signed commitment she made to oppose and veto net tax hikes if elected president, as reported by Forbes.

The revelation of Haley's alleged shift in stance on taxation has ignited a fiery response from Terrell, who has been quick to condemn her actions.

Leo Terrell, not one to mince words, also shared his discontent with the state of journalism in a separate tweet on February 3.

He accused reporters of merely serving as mouthpieces for the Pentagon, suggesting that they are regurgitating information from press releases issued by the Biden administration's Defense Department.

Terrell went on to refer to reporters as 'talking heads' for the Pentagon, expressing his disappointment with their lack of independence and critical analysis.

In his tweet, Terrell stated, "Very sad reporters serve as talking heads for the Pentagon! Reporters are simply reading press releases issued from Biden’s Defense Department. I don’t believe or trust the government! #Trump2024."

This statement echoes his skepticism over government institutions and the media's role in disseminating information without proper scrutiny.

Public backlash grows: social media users express discontent with Nikki Haley's alleged policy shift

As Leo Terrell sparked controversy with his accusation against Nikki Haley, social media users joined the conversation, expressing their discontent with the former United Nations ambassador.

One user wrote, "You are right Leo. I decent person would get out of the race. It's over. #NeverNikki #NeverNikkiHaley."

Another added, "Girl gotta make a living, why not take the Rino bucks. It's not like she's got more of a chance than Liz Chaney."

One commented, "Don't mention her name again, ignore please."

Another replied, "She’s clearly getting paid a LOT of money. This is ruining her political future, so a huge payoff is the only logical thing keeping her in at this point."

One wrote, "The longer Hayley campaigns, the more her true color comes out, she is reflecting shades of blue and the blue is getting bluer."
