SIOUX CENTER, IOWA: Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley spoke with ABC News Live Prime anchor Linsey Davis in a network interview about former President Donald Trump, the Israel-Hamas conflict, abortion, and her life before entering the public eye.

There were some surprising statements made by Nikki during the Monday, December 11 interview, which came just days after the fourth GOP debate. She was especially keen on her views regarding how she thinks Trump shouldn’t be the next US president as well as her stance on abortion rights.

Having said that, the most talked about segment from her interview was when she was joined by her daughter Rena Haley.

Rena was asked by the ABC anchor about how she felt when Vivek Ramaswamy brought her up during the third GOP debate, to which she replied that mentioning her use of TikTok was unnecessary and uncalled for.

What did Rena Haley say during her TV interview appearance alongside her mother?

Nikki, who was joined by her daughter Rena in the interview, has indicated on the campaign trail that she would seek a ban on TikTok and has sparred with some of her Republican opponents on the subject, as per ABC Eyewitness News.

Particularly, Nikki clashed with rival candidate Ramaswamy after he mentioned that her daughter had a TikTok account, which she has since deactivated.

Ramaswamy, who himself has a TikTok account, was asked during the debate, "How do you get TikTok banned if you use it?"

"I want to laugh at what Nikki Haley said. Her own daughter was actually using the app for a long time. So you might want to take care of your family first," remarked the entrepreneur, getting booed by some debate audience members in the process.

Nikki sternly responded to Ramaswamy, saying, "Leave my daughter out of your voice," and later called him a "scum."

During the ABC News interview, Haley's daughter Rena noted, "I mean, I felt like it was unnecessary. I feel like it's, people know not to bring kids into a situation. And so I felt like it was kind of uncalled for," about Ramaswamy's comment regarding her use of TikTok.

Internet slams Nikki Haley for bringing in her daughter to the ABC News interview

After the ABC News interview came forth, it was obvious that many didn't like that former Governor of South Carolina Nikki brought in her daughter to address the Ramaswamy incident that happened during the third GOP debate in Miami.

One wrote, "Bringing kids into the drama? Not a good look," while another noted, "I don't recall Vivek calling her by name or showing a picture of her lol But Haley is going to put on national TV and to say "hey look" here she is and you can find her on TikTok lol. Isn't Haley against TikTok herself?"

A person said, "It doesn’t make sense except that it gets them viewers," and someone else added, "That's it bring your daughter, that should make you more believable."

"The level of hypocrisy and double-standards in this room is insurmountable lmfao," expressed a user, as one more stated, "First, she tries using the woman card, then she tries using the child card. At the same time she’s bringing her child into the picture of herself. What a phony person."
