NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene sparked online outrage as she tweeted about the Biden administration aiding "illegal" migrants to enter the United States by air on March 5.

She cited an article published in the Daily Mail the previous day to back her claims, according to which the Biden administration has admitted transporting migrants on secret flights into the country.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reportedly refused to share details about a 2023 program secretly arranging flights for thousands of undocumented immigrants from foreign airports directly to cities in the United States, since revealing the locations could create national security "vulnerabilities."

The program was part of the president's expansion of the CBP One app, which was launched earlier that year. It allowed migrants to digitally apply for asylum from their home countries.

The discovery was made by the Center for Immigration Studies in the details of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit first reported by Todd Bensman.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's tweet

Taking to the social media platform, the Georgia Representative shared a screengrab of the Daily Mail article headline that read, "Biden administration ADMITS flying 320,000 migrants secretly into the U.S. to reduce the number of crossings at the border has national security 'vulnerabilities'."

"Illegal crossings at our Southern border have been at record highs under Joe Biden. But those numbers don’t even paint the full picture as Joe Biden has been flying illegals directly into our country," Greene wrote in her tweet. "This is a massive national security risk."

"If any terrorist attack happens on American soil, the blood will be on the hands of Joe Biden, Secretary Mayorkas, and every open borders Democrat. CLOSE THE BORDER NOW!" she added.
