NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich recently appeared on Fox News ‘The Ingraham Angle’ and warned the viewers about Democrats stating they will do "whatever it takes" to win the 2024 presidential elections.

Gingrich expressed his views on the upcoming elections and the ongoing legal challenges faced by former President Donald Trump.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share her conversation with Gingrich.

As Gingrich slammed democrats and backed Trump, many people on the internet also weighed in their thoughts.

Newt Gingrich claims Democrats will do ‘whatever it takes’ to win

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Newt Gingrich: As the Democrats panic, they're going to increasingly use the Justice Department to try to destroy Trump. So he can't compete.”

Newt Gingrich made an appearance on ‘The Ingraham Angle’ to share his insights on the upcoming 2024 elections, with a particular focus on the ongoing legal challenges faced by former President Donald Trump.

During the discussion, Ingraham conveyed to the former House Speaker that the cases against Trump are expected to reach the US Supreme Court.

Ingraham also mentioned that this process would provide voters with an opportunity to assess the constitutional aspects of these legal matters.

Gingrich expressed his concern asserting that Republicans were contending with a "team" that prioritizes the “believes in the rule of power” rather than “act as though the law matters.”

He highlighted his worry for the United States, emphasizing that Democrats possessed legal "tools" that they might use to try to "destroy" the Republican party.

Gingrich said, “Look, but with all respect, I’m a historian, not a lawyer — you’re an attorney. The people you interview are attorneys. They actually act as though the law matters.”

He told Ingraham, “What you’re dealing with is a team that believes in the rule of power, not the rule of law. And I don’t think we can imagine how prepared they are to do whatever it takes to make sure that we can’t win this fall. I’m genuinely worried for the country — really, for the first time in my life.”

Gingrich continued, “I think you’re faced with a totally corrupt, radical ideology that is prepared to, in every way it has to, use every element of power that it’s got."

He further said, "And frankly, with the federal government, the New York State Government, the attorney in Fulton County, they have a lot of tools to bring to bear to try to destroy us because they’re terrified of us. We’re the natural majority. They know it.”

Internet weighs in on Newt Gingrich’s remarks against Democrats

Many X users took a brutal jab at Newt Gingrich and Donald Trump.

One person wrote, “Trump is doing that all by himself.   Needs no help,” and another shared a similar opinion, “Democrats don’t have to destroy Trump, he has done it all by himself.”

An X user simply called out Trump, “Trump destroyed himself, by being himself, it’s called karma,” and another slammed the former speaker, “Newt is wrong, as usual.”

One user said, “Republicans are the dumbest people on the planet. Come on, just one, one Ingraham fan defend such a stupid statement. Is there a single Fox viewer that believes anything this idiot says?”

Another mocked Gingrich, “Neutered Ginbitch is a complete joke.”
