NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters on Tuesday, January 30, claimed that the Biden administration possesses the authority to secure the border at any given moment but is opting not to do so in a recent episode of ‘Jesse Watters Primetime'.

Watters discussed how President Joe Biden claims he needs “power” to secure the border.

Following his monologue, Watters took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share with his followers as many people expressed their frustration over the ongoing border crisis.

Jesse Watters slams Biden admin for refusing to secure borders

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters took to X and wrote, “If you're a gay illegal, you get VIP treatment under Biden- free legal, medical and onward travel assistance.”

He continued, “Busting into our country as a Latin lesbian gets you free housing, free lawyers, free doctors and free tickets to travel anywhere you want! And that's not all. You get free food and drink, free Wi-Fi and a free assistant to help you find your long-lost cousin.”

In his monologue, Watters added, “Joe Biden spent three years claiming the border was secure and suddenly, in an election year, he needs emergency powers to shut it down. Why shut down a secure border? You wouldn't close a locked door, would you? The president has always had the power he needs to secure the border. If he needs a refresher on the law, just ask Barack.”

The Fox News host further added, “Title 8, Section 12 of the U.S. code sets it in stone. Whenever the president finds at the entry of any aliens, and the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may, by proclamation, and for such periods as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

“Congress passed that law in 1952, and the media is so ignorant, they think Congress needs to pass another law for Joe Biden to act. You don't need to be 80 to remember this law. You just need to be 20 because Obama used it,” Watters said.

He concluded, “If Trump gets re-elected, he's going to use the same law on day one. And that wouldn't make him a dictator. The Democrats say it would make him Dr Evil.”

Internet expresses frustration over border crisis

Many social media users expressed their frustration on the border issue.

One person wrote on X, “Maybe we all need to show up at the border, because being a citizen isn't doing any of us much good anymore,” while another said, “And fighting for your country, you get homelessness!”

An X user simply said, “Someone needs to do something. I mean honestly what the hell happened,” while another wrote, “It is OFF THE CHARTS OUTRAGEOUS!”

One person said, “Exactly what's wrong with our administration today,” while another added, “Every illegal is seen as a vote. Everything the government is doing is to buy future votes.”
