MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Comedian Jimmy Kimmel has once again poked fun at the political circus surrounding Donald trump's hush money trial. This time his mordant humor is directed at Stormy Daniels' testimony in court.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels testified in the former POTUS' trial in New York on May 7, detailing an alleged sexual encounter she claims to have had with Trump in 2006.

As per CBS News, during questioning by prosecutors, Daniels testified that she encountered Trump at a celebrity golf event in Nevada, recounting that he extended an invitation to his hotel suite, where they engaged in a two-hour conversation before engaging in sexual activity.

Kimmel's humorous take on Stormy Daniels' testimony

In his 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' monologue, Kimmel quipped, "The prosecution today called their star witness, their porn star witness Stormy Daniels, took the stand this morning, and for Donald, I can only imagine the nervous farting was off the charts."

As Kimmel recounted the proceedings, he couldn't help but inject his own brand of humor into the mix, saying, "It was quite a day in court. We got mentioned in court again today, which is exciting."

Reportedly, prosecutors delved into Daniels' past interviews, including her appearance on Kimmel's show from 2018, where they scrutinized her signature on a letter denying her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

He added, "We examined her signature that was on a letter. Trump's henchman cooked up denying that she and Trump ever did "it"."

"Daniels said she signed her name in a different way as a tip-off to Jimmy Kimmel, who is me. “Somehow, I’ve become the Kato Kaelin of this trial,” Kimmel joked, referencing his name coming up in the testimony in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

As Kimmel regaled his audience with the day's courtroom antics, he couldn't resist sharing a particularly humorous moment from Daniels' testimony.

"Stormy testified for 3 hours and 44 minutes today. Her testimony got off to an awkward start; the bailiff swore her in on a rolled-up Forbes Magazine, and when she raised her right hand, Trump instinctively shouted, 'I'm a bad boy, mommy'," Kimmel recounted, eliciting laughter from his viewers.

Kimmel further noted that the judge allowed Stormy Daniels to testify about her sexual relationship with Trump but suggested "we don't need to know the details".

However, Kimmel objected, stating, "Yes, we do need to know the details. Some of us are trying to host a show here."

The host then stated Stormy's testimony, saying, "Their encounter was brief and that Trump did not wear a condom, which is not surprising; he also stared directly into an eclipse, not exactly a safety first kind of guy; she said they had sex in the missionary position and that Trump told her she reminded him of his daughter."

"Feels like we should lock him up just for that right," he added as the audience roared in laughter.

Kimmel also joked about Daniels’ claim that Trump would refer to her as “honey bunch”.

“Interestingly, it’s also a term Melania would use at Mar-a-Lago. As in, ‘Honey, bunch of FBI agents out there!’”

Internet laughts at Kimmel's commentary

Kimmel's comments had social media users in stitches, with hilarious reactions and comedic responses dominating the show's comment section.

A certain observer remarked, "Those poor jurors, theyre going to need years of therapy."

An alternate perspective was offered by another viewer, "Keeping the testimony short is the most accurate description Stormy Daniels could give."

A follower took note of, "Even FEMA can't repair that much Stormy damage."
