NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Eric Trump joined Fox News host Sean Hannity for an interview, sharing his perspective on why the mainstream media is in a state of meltdown over his father, Donald Trump’s growing influence in the GOP presidential race.

According to Eric, the media is "petrified" by his father's unstoppable momentum.

Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share his conversation with Eric with his followers.

However, the internet did not respond positively to Eric’s claims as several people took a brutal jab at Donald Trump.

Eric Trump says media is ‘petrified’ of Donald Trump

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, @EricTrump- They are petrified of my father and his message.

Hannity asked Eric Trump, “You can't deny that these are historic results for your father," as he reviewed the outcomes of the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary.

Eric responded saying, “There’s no question about that, Sean. That’s exactly why the mainstream media is petrified of him. He won the largest margin ever in Iowa; he won the largest margin in New Hampshire. He received the most votes in a primary ever in the history of New Hampshire. And by the way, he’s beating Biden in every national poll…The media is absolutely petrified.”

He continued, “My father is the greatest guy in the world. He wants strong borders. He wants a great economy. He wants a strong military. He doesn’t want to see this country go into World War 3. He’s sick and tired of the games. He’s sick and tired of the nonsense.”

Eric said, “These massive turnouts are the American people who want our country back. They are tired of the worst president in the history of this country by far hands down. It’s not even close. They want a strong guy back in the White House and that’s exactly what my father will do and what my father is.”

Hannity again questioned Eric, “You look, for example, at the media. This is now two part one caucus, one primary in. Here you have Joe Biden who lies and says the border is secure and the border is closed. That’s not true and it’s never been true since he has been president,” as he continued to slam Biden.

The Fox News host then shifted to CNN and MSNBC calling them “fake news” who wanted to “fact check” Donald Trump in “real-time” on his victory speech.

He asked Eric, “What’s your reaction to that part of it?”

Eric replied, “Does that shock anybody? They’ve been censoring my father since the minute they went down the escalator. Anything they put out they would censor. All of this press conferences, they would censor and distort his words. They kicked them off Twitter and Instagram.”

“Any chance they could remove a public platform for my father to use and communicate to the American people, they did. Does it surprise you that MSNBC is doing the same thing on New Hampshire primary night? Of course not.”

He further added, “Does it surprise CNN is doing the same thing? They are petrified of my father and his message. He does not need this job. His life is exponentially better if he was at Mar-A-Lago enjoying life and enjoying his grandkids. They guy wants to save this country. Our whole family wants to save this country.”

Internet calls Donald Trump a ‘conman’

Many X users brutally responded to Eric Trump’s claims that his father ‘petrifies’ the media.

One person wrote, “No, we aren't. he's all talk no action,” and another said, “Nope. His father petrifies no one. His father is a conman and unstable and a criminal and a candidate for POTUS. We intend to stop him. Period.”

An X user slammed Donald Trump’s family adding, “If 'they' is the crime family - then you're absolutely right!” and another added, “I'm pretty sure The World is Petrified of his message and I know they are petrified about him ever becoming President again..”

One more person called out Eric’s words saying, “What 'message?' All the lies?” and another wrote, “The message that he wants to be dictator, supreme ruler, yes I’m very worried about our democracy.”
